Years have passed since Sketchup 4 and neither Google then Trimble have done anything to make it easier and faster... Unbelievable but sorry I don't think your way it's fast, precise neither useful.

This waas a good technique. I would like to see a new version of this. I would like to see how to place an existing sketchup model then add a photo to it and use the match photo for the surrounding buildings. Here is where I am in the process: 1. used Autocad and LandFX to create the 2D Landscape streetscape plan 2. Imported into Sketchup and added componenets 3. Took a picture of the site that shows existing buildings, the roads and I want to update the simple building forms with the match photos. Not sure where to begin. Do I use match photo first then build sketchup model with streetscape? Thank you!
Though if you use thea, you should save the SU image from Thea as well. That way the image ratio is exactly the same as your render. Otherwise it will be exported different by SU compared to the Thea render.
I love these videos, however I am unaware of any way to search them. It is only a guess of what to search for. I would like to be able to download all of them and index them in a way that I can understand what I am searching for. Basically I would like to be able to download them and create my own descriptions each video.
Unfortunately, UA-cam does not allow downloading. You should be able to browse the Skill Builder playlist and watch the ones you like (or all of them).
why youtube teacher have big microphone in front of there head? is that hip or modern maybe? why i never see that in the news or woth interviewers on tv? they have small mic in the blouse maybe? to have better direct sound yes i can imagine it is setup like this.....But even in the former century you can put the mike a bit further away, out of the screen. in 2019 that should be possible no? using noise surpressor, compressor standard in any video montage software.......in any case i think that would look better.

In the save image dialog from Thea4SU, in the dropdown you can pick SU image.
