OMG when I saw panettone con canditi i laughed a lot, cause I hate it too! During christmas times I usually go with pandoro, which is like a sweeter version, and no canditi! Also great video, I enjoyed listening to your points of view!
ahahhaa im glad an italian agrees with me on that! i love pandoro as well but i love panettone con gocce di cioccolato:)) and im happy you liked my points, i hope you find funny my italian alter ego as well:DDD
I loved your “Honey Moon”! You were both so sweet to invite us to look in on your adventure. That was a super clever idea to park next to the cemetery. I will never forget that, & I’m sure you never will either. Sending you my very best wishes.❤️
Barbara, you are so right about these things. Of all the countries I have lived in, Italy is the worst when it comes to bureaucracy. They have worked centuries to make any simple processes as complicated as possible. And it is so true, they are not slaves to work! When I lived there I had to create a timetable so I could remember when different businesses were going to be open or closed. The first time I went into a bank, I stood still, in shock! I could not understand what was going on. I think I may have been the only women in this bank. All these men were pushing & yelling. When I told my friend about my experience, she said, she always calls the bank manager, an tells him she is coming, than he meets her an she conducts her business with him, so she doesn’t have to deal with all that chaos. Qing up is just done in Italy. When I first arrived in Italy I really thought the drivers were crazy! I was sure we were going to be killed! But after a while I became accustomed to it, and my friends said, I had become a crazy driver as well. After returning to the USA, it seemed as if everyone was driving in slow motion. And as for the Panatoni, I still love it! ❤️
Hahha the la part about Americans driving in slow motion made me laugh!! About the bank and such I think you can get used to it and realize how you need to act. Today for example I went to the hospital for my blood exams but not in the right time and I was talking so much and was pushy enough that they gave me my results in the end hahaha
@@barbart_ You know you have really progressed in the Italian culture, when you can out talk the Italians. HaHa I wanted to tell you that I like your ultaego character, she reminds me of “Carmen Santa ago”. Stay well my friend. I’m getting my first vaccine shot on Thursday.
Mah.
1. Also italians hate burocracy 2. A lot of italians hate canditi in panettone; actually i like them, but a lot of people don't. 4. Italian people hate queues and they are not able to do them. It is annoying? Yes, it is. Will italian still do that? Of course 5. Yeah that is just annoying. And don't try to go to a fucking pharmacy on sunday afternoon, expecially in small towns; "but if someone needed a medicine that time?" Some italian would say "ti attacchi al tram", but i can't translate it properly. It actually means it's none of my buisness/you need to manage it somehow Some italian tips: Actually it is muòversi, not muovèrsi And "non è UN problema" And because you identify as a female, you should say "fiduciosA" And it is tabaccheria, not tabacchiera (tabacchiera is the container where you put tobacco, while tabaccheria is the place) 😘
😀😀😀 I know I can’t talk perfectly (neither in English) but I also realized in this 6 years that you don’t need to speak perfectly a language, the only important thing is that people understand what you want to say:) I wouldn’t speak even this little in my videos in Italian if I would concentrate on the perfect grammar or pronunciation:)
