Replaced this pump with the exact same pump, just so I wouldn't have to deal with replacing a failed pump in a tub of sewage. This pump serviced a toilet, shower and laundry in my basement for 17 years and never ever clogged.
Nothing wrong with the old Myers I pulled out as I found out. After a good cleaning and a coat of paint and it's now my stand-bye backup pump. These are definitely not cheap but considering the peace of mind over the years they are definitely worth it.

Awesome Chris! I will definitely be buying one of these the next time I need a new sewage pump. Your videos are always very informative and helpful. Please keep the videos coming. Now do a video about if you (Chris) could pick any brand of sump pump and any brand of vertical float switch, which two would you pair together to make a very reliable set-up for light duty, residential, non-sewage, use (just pumping ground water).

Hi, thanks. Very informative and a great pump. I have this pump and need to troubleshoot it (14 years of trouble free service!). Is there a good resource? Power, breakers, outlet all good. Does not hum...

Thanks for your video, Im looking for a replacement sewage pump for our basement pit. This pit is approx 5-6 gallon and handles basement shower, sink, toilet and 2 clothes washers and AC coil drain. Our mentality challenged child has a very bad habit of flushing way to much toilet paper and other object that shouldn’t such as marbles and other strange misc. Looking for a indestructible pump that will pass about anything. Been using a Wayne from Ace for about 7 years with clog issues every so often. Now it has just lost its power. What pump would you recommend for 120V, piggy back cord or manual type fine, will be using my STAK Enterprises' HydroCheck Model HC5000 Sewage pump controller for on/off operation anyways. Min on time of 5 sec for this controller to calibrate and work correctly in my pit, 3/4hp or 15A max rating on this controller as well. Rise (Head) is 1-1/2 x approx 7’ foot pipe “unfortunately” to main drain pipe, unfortunately pvc pipe under the cement floor to pits exit is also 1-1/2” and right angles up the block wall. I really think this should be re-plumbed in all 2” pvc without any elbows or angles except where it must go up and soft elbow down on-top of and into into main drain pipe out to our septic tank. Enough ramble...would a Zoeller 267 or your pump here be the way to go? Any suggestions of a great pump choice please.

The SRM4 is perfect for your application. The discharge pipe, by code, needs to be 2" though. Here is a link to the 115V manual version: www.rcworst.com/Myers-SRM4M1C-Sewage-Pump-0-4-HP-115V-1-PH-20-Cord-Manual-p865.html

Thanks for your reply, yes I bought the house with the 1-1/2” pipe already plumbed under the bare laundry room/furnace room floor. Luckily the sump pit is almost smack against my block wall where the head pipe “output” goes up this wall and just above the main drain pipe and does a gentle 180 back down into a T on the main drain from upstairs bathroom sinks, tub and kitchen sinks, then this drops into main 4” drain. I believe I will bypass this under the floor to pit pipe and just run 2” straight up through a hole in lid I will need to drill, then gently angle this new 2” towards the wall (about 1 foot) and bracket tightly against block wall face as is now. Unfortunately I will have to re-plumb the new 2” septic directly into the 4” drain. The current septic pit is currently pumped up to basement unfinished ceiling where it goes into a 1-1/2 drain pipe from upstairs bathroom tub and sink which is also same 1-1/2” drain pipe on other end being fed by the kitchen sinks. I wouldn’t think you would want septic pumping up into another sink water/tub drain pipe from upstairs then this all teeing into main 4” drain at one point. Seems like the sump pit should have a single dedicated 2” pipe directly into my main 4” drain perhaps downstream “towards yard septic tank” this being a separate tie- in point from where the upstairs bathroom and kitchen drains currently all dump into main 4?
Anyways I think I should consult a professional plumber for advice.
Question: the pump you are recommending, is it as good as a Zoeller 267, I do like your price better. Does this manual switch type you link “showing a tethered float in picture” have a piggyback plug that I can separate float from, thus plugging the sewage pump motor directly into my electronic user run-time programmable Stak Enterprises Inc HC5000T Limited Lifetime Warranted Sewage Pump Controller?
Sorry for never learning how to keep my sentences short.
I appreciate your help so far, just throw me a sales pitch on why your model recommended would be a better choice than the Zoeller 267, besides the somewhat lower price? As durable? Made in 🇺🇸? Better warrantee?

      Mike,
The Myers pump I linked you is a manual pump so no float switch is included. We have had a lot of luck with the Myers SRM4 pumps, but the Zoeller 267 is an excellent choice as well. The Zoeller would have a 3 year warranty vs 1 year on the Myers - and for the price I would actually say the Zoeller is a better fit. Here's a link to the one you'd need: www.rcworst.com/Zoeller-267-0002-Model-N267-Sewage-Effluent-or-Dewatering-Pump-0-5-HP-115V-1PH-15-Cord-Nonautomatic-p4608.html
