2024 Ride For Natasha

This video contains footage of the second half of a 49 mile group bicycle ride. This ride is titled, “Ride For Natasha”. This is an annual ride. The purpose of the ride is to increase awareness and sharing of the road between cyclists and drivers. The ride starts in Landover located in Prince George’s County, Maryland and goes to Annapolis located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
Natasha was hit and killed on September 19th, 2010, while riding her bicycle as she trained for a Half Ironman. The driver hit her and continued home with Natasha's bicycle lodged under her SUV. This ride calls attention to the need for keen awareness so that everyone can share the road resources. In addition, the ride helps to remember the loss of a beautiful lady who was gone too soon!!!
I’m riding my 2023 Specialized SL8 Tarmac Pro. The drone footage is recorded with a DJI Mini Pro 4. The cycling footage is recorded with a GoPro 11 Hero Black. The data overlay is achieved through the Telemetry Overlay program.
