    Rybakina is my new favorite for single. She is so calm strong intense. Wishing her to win many more grand slams this year. When she plays, I always think about Federer because she is so calm and strong.💘

      Same feeling: didn't want to see either one lose: I picked RYBAKINA: I gsve her the edge w/ the serving, along w/ her ability to hit winners from unlikely spots, but it went the other way around: Elena's numbers on 1st serve dipped a little & ARYNA did well to wipe out her DF's (Double Faults) w/ key 2nd
      serves, though Elena got a few nice winners off AS's 2nd: Those ladies can crack; Fun to watch, and I sense they both can play better moving forward; we'll see if they & a couple of others will separate from the pack, or if things
      stay wide open: Iga won 2 in 2022; Sabalenka has 3 chances to get another; who knows, maybe these two will win the other 3 Majors: 2-2, or 3-1

    Great players, great match, and great speeches by both of them. It was great to see the joy from Aryna and her team. They've worked so hard to achieve this. Aryna mentioned in another interview that her coach said to her that maybe he couldn't get her to the next level and that she should try another coach. She said no, stuck with him, and look where they are now. So happy for their success. She's a powerhouse on court, and seems like a sweetheart off the court.

    • @csracingreport2024
      @csracingreport2024 Рік тому +1

      U make some great points; it obviously worked: and she dropped the shrink; a point or 2 made the difference in the match: Elena's 1st serve efficiency dipped a bit, and Aryna blocked out the Double Faults very well, & hit key 2nd serves: They'll keep working to reduce the DF"s, while Rybakina's team
      I would think, will want to use her length 2 smother angles w/ more net play: they both can be excused 4 few volley attempts, given how hard & quickly balls were being returned: Supersonic striking off the ground from these ladies.

  • @imalwaysright

    I love what Elena brings to tennis. Not only an incredible tennis player, but has one of the best demeanours off and on the court. Her graciousness, kindness and humility is very endearing. Love the sportsmanship she showed. Unfortunately was beaten today, but can't wait to see her appearing in more finals and winning more titles!

      She's going in the right direction; got close to having a chance to serve 4 the lead. break again , & win the match outright or have a shot to take it in a tiebreak; missed a couple of good looks, and her 1st serve wasn't as good, but that'll get fixed; both ladies have the length to close up angles & shorten points @ the net, so we'll see if that comes into
      play; hard to do w/ the bombs coming back w/ pace & depth to net rush this go around, but we'll probably see it in the future; Two Wonder Women, very classy, and to your point, ELENA has a good chance to be a superstar; same for ARYNA; just needs to need to continue to cut down on the Double F's;

    • @csracingreport2024
      @csracingreport2024 Рік тому

      agreed; Aryna will still need to tighten up w/ the Double F's, but her 2nd serve was big & that's a plus: Elena's 1st serve numbers dipped just a bit, and she missed a few good looks, but that can be fixed; they both have the length to be lethal @ the net; that strategy took a back seat w/ return balls
      shooting back w/ great speed & depth: they both dropped bombs off the ground, but I'd be shocked if we don't see both ladies utilize net play against other players, including Clay; one thing I want 2 ask is; what do u think about
      their movement? Tough to judge, but I'm thinking they may be faster than the naked eye sees it, and because they both have long legs, they're covering the ground w/ less steps". What do u think?

  • @tennisradu
    @tennisradu Рік тому +5

    Wow, to think Sabalenka was down 1-5 in the first set against Samsonova, in her first match of the season, then 3 weeks later not only she wins her first GS, but she wins 2 tournaments in a row after losing all the finals she played last year. I didn't like her as much when she came on tour, but I feel she has matured a lot in the last couple of months and her game is nearly flawless, I feel like she has more weapons than Swiatek, the net game is super on point as well...
    This is another proof everything can change so quickly in sport, you only have to BELIEVE and trust yourself, congrats to both girls for a unique show! :D

    • @csracingreport2024
      @csracingreport2024 Рік тому +1

      Great points: ARYNA did well to offset the Double F's & Elena capitalizing on a few 2nd balls w/ some clutch 2nd serves: I'd be shocked if both coaching teams don't utilize net tactics w/ the length each has, including Clay to some degree: look out if that develops: a key reason it didn't happen often in this
      Final was the speed & depth of returns off the ground; they both generate tremendous pace; it'll be interesting to see how it all shakes out on Clay where Swiatek is proven, but RYBAKINA will have confidence after an impressive win over Iga In Melbourne; she & Sabalenka are likely to better
      their 3rd round results @ the 2022 French and we're going to see if this is the start of semi or pure domination, w/ these two, or a continuation of a "wide open" WTA Tour; and u may agree, the scary part is they both can play better.

    • @tennisradu
      @tennisradu Рік тому +1

      @@csracingreport2024 I think when Sabalenka plays the way she has played in the first 3 weeks of the season, she knows she can beat everyone. You can't outpower her, you need to play super smart tactically in order to beat her. 😁

    • @csracingreport2024
      @csracingreport2024 Рік тому

      @@tennisradu Agree 99.9% : the .1% is RYBAKINA's equally impressive ground game before, and in the Final; she misfired on some points where she was in control, had 1 untimely Double F, and her 1st serve numbers dipped as well; and to your point, a gun slinging shootout is risky either way, & it backfired a bit on
      Elena: it was a shootout , very tight , but ARYNA picked up her play well in Sets 2&3; Big 2nd serves; Moving forward, the finesse part for each will be key, be it against one another or other players, If both use their length @ the net 2 to cut angles; look out : if there was any plan for either, the speed & depth of shots fired
      back prevented frequent volley play in this match, but as you stated, that's a Federer like "chess match strategy" they'll have to master: I'd be shocked if their coaches don't employ it: they're tall & pack approach shot power; I think u may agree, future results could go either way w/ these 2 two bombers, but
      RYBAKINA needs to break the winless streak w/ SABALENKA, and I think it's crucial it happens before the French, but some things have to fall in place; Elena is @ #10 Aryna #2; could happen in a Quarter and / or SF; depends: the draw could have them clashing in a Final;

      They're good 4 the game: and you described them well: Elena's not bad looks -wise: Agreed, ARYNA is more... runway model looking: Tennis wise, the pace these 2 generate is insane: serious cracking off the ground; and u
      may agree, the scary part is, I think they both can play better: the clay will be
      interesting; they'll have to use some finesse there, and on grass to some extent as well; If both start using their length to shrink angles @ the net, and
      quickly end points, look out: works both ways; u will get passed a bit & u gotta have the cardio, or it can be taxing, but I think they're capable of mastering it.

      I was thinking the same the whole match w/ both because of their length: I'd be shocked if their coaches don't utilize that strategy, even on Clay to some extent: One reason neither rushed the net much was the returns being shot back so quickly: but I think you'll see it against others, if they can't do it head
      to head: They both have insane pace off the ground, serious cracking: I'm curious as to whether this is the start w/ these 2 & whoever else of a separation from the pack, or if the WTA TOUR stays "wide open" ... But to further Your point, the scary part is, I think they both can actually play better.

      I picked RYBAKINA In what was a "toss-up" based on the form they had coming in, but you're right, Elena missed a few good looks, dropped in 1st serve percentage, and ARYNA wiped out the Double F's w/ clutch 2nd serves: her team will continue 2 tighten the screws on serve up on the
      giveaways, and you would think Elena's crew will try to use her length to approach the net: same for ARYNA; not easy to do, w/ balls being returned so quickly, hence the few attempts by both 2 rush the net, but we'll see it down the road; the pace these 2 generate on the ground is incredible.

    To paraphrase Sabalenka: "You guys gonna see an even better version of my game next year." 2 more GSs later she was right. But I feel like her best tennis is yet to come which is kinda scary when you think about it. Unrelated but in my opinion Aryna does some of the best and most elegant trophy lifts and poses I've ever seen. After her USO victory I feel she's got accustomed to that stuff. Granted with her amazing strength she could lift the heaviest of trophies with relative ease.

    It may not have been an "epic" Classic, but it was a close, high-quality match: RYBAKINA was my pick, based on the serve & ground game, but SABALENKA is a savage striker, who overcame the DF's w/ big 2nd Serves: Elena's percentage dipped a tad on First Serve, & she missed some chances, but the same can be said 4 Aryna,
    who made great adjustments, which wasn't easy for either player, w/ balls being returned so quickly: Most would agree it was a match where u didn't want to see either one lose: And they both exuded class in their speeches.

    WTA and Monarchy showing respect to the Elders of Native Australians, Hypocrites. This is what’s wrong with the World. Take their land then apologize. And give Rybakina the wimbledon points.

    Love that a Wouldn't dare utter the name of Sabalynka's country. Australia is sickeningly woke. These 2 women are great players but they don't deserve equal pay as they would struggle to get a game off of anyone in the men's draw. Just look at any woman's tournament where there are no men, almost no fans goes to them. Look at the wta finals...sad really but the level of tennis is vastly different as should the pat.
