For $50 I would think about buying one of these. For $250????? I don't think half the case was worth $250 combined.

Pretty absurd. I think the card industry is about to be in for a rude awakening. People aren't gonna by 250$ boxes of cardboard when their struggling to eat or put gas in the car. The covid rush is over.
@@kenosabiindeed. In turn, box prices will eventually come down as Topps has problems in relation to selling the majority of their product at such high prices.

Agree. I remember buying a case of 2013 Tier One for ~$700 and was full of awesome hits. Oh how things have changed. This case was weak for that price

Unfortunately, expectations have been dulled of what one will receive in a hobby box in recent years, and I feel that this is a complete fail at $250. Fanatics/Topps have to be making a killing with these products selling at these ludicrous prices, especially those products that are parallel heavy (those parallels likely cost fractions of a cent for them to produce.) At $50-60 a box, this would likely be a great product, but not at 5x that price. The best hit of this case isn't even likely to make back the cost of their box, and this video just reinforces the idea that buying single cards is the way to go. The video was fun to watch though!

Same I'd give it a C grade as well. I just bought a box and got Robin Yount auto /25, Will Brennen auto /299, and a Barry Larkin relic /400. Not bad but I was hoping for a bigger hit 😂

This is the 3rd case I’ve seen ripped today. The other two we huge. So I think after you open more your grade will increase.
I likes the fact that in one pack there were my fellow Mexican ball players, Alejandro Kirk and Javier Assad and then in the next one Alek Thomas, who played for Mexico in the 2023 WBC.

I bought one box of these but after seeing what people got I regret buying it, I mean maybe I’ll get something amazing but with one box chances are from what I’ve seen I’m not even gonna get $100 in value but I guess I’ll prolly just open it soon

Some great singles to pick up in this set but terrible ROI and definitely not worth buying sealed.

I think around $180. On average you will spend $60 on something else to pull an auto or mem. $250 is just making it another overpriced product.

Bought one today. I got $250 worth of garbage. D+ at best.
So, any of the archives auto boxes deliver one auto in a slab for 70 bucks, three of those is 210 dollars, mlb needs to guarantee at least 3 autos per box to compete, plus there are relics with no mlb holo stickers to specify what game any of these were used in, for 250 dollars I expect those types of incentives, at least three autos and a game used relic with proof of authenticity, not just topps word, hard pass
@@NoahSimms-nd1ys 100%, I was speaking idealistically is all, I wouldn't touch a lot of these higher end products regardless, but if Fanatics wanted to make these actually worth the price that would be my suggestion

Straight dusted. Breakers are destroying the hobby. No one in the their right mind would pay $250 for that but guess who will? Breakers. Which means the prices will never fall and the hobby will continue to be inaccessible for most.
Most cards are high numbered autos and napkin relics, pretty crappy product
