Hello, Mr. Shin ! My friend shared this video to me ☺️ Thank you so much for reacting to my video. I hope you had fun watching it ☺️ I can’t wait to visit Japan soon ☺️✨
@@shinsmith3185 i LIKE the way you commented on the anime cover of Mona and how you correct her little mistakes for us to know more about your language. I knew she understands about it we learned more through our mistakes.... keep safe
Filipino 90’s kids grew up with Japanese anime. Watching TV was a big part of our childhood, 1990s-2000s - the time when internet, especially social media, was not yet a trend.
Japanese anime is the reason why we left school early and went to our friend's house just to watch anime and discuss what will happen and or connect the story. After anime will do the house chores... :)
ate mona brought me to another Japanese UA-camr, but unlike the other u are the one who correct her and notice the diff between her words and tone. i admire you for that and Philippines is fond in anime, anime is our second life. and we love japan. Keep safe 💘
Im already 31 yrs Old im still watching anime and reading manga like one piece, black clover, jujutsu kaisen, one punch man, haikyu, my hero academia, berserk etc. And im from the phil. Hehehehe
I guess only in Philippines where Voltes V is a really big thing. It has showed over and over through generations. I am 40 now. And my mom said that was her favorite when she was young! 😅
It brings back my childhood days ❤ Those days, that I woke up at 7:30am and wait until the 'Unang Hirit' show ends before finally be able to watch anime 😂🤣
Hahaha the pitch critique killed me. 🤣 The second song was from Chodenji Voltes V. Whenever I talk about it with Japanese people, nobody knows about it. It wasn’t very popular in Japan and I think it only ran for one year. But in the Philippines, it’s basically an institution. ALL kids in the 80’s - 90’s know about it and know that song.
It's so ironic that some Japanese I've watched reacting to this were not familiar with Voltes V but it was such a classic here in the Phils. Haha... it's just cute when you think about it.
Not every anime is a hit in Japan you know. Sometimes an anime you know only became popular outside of Japan. You can site alot of this in the 80s like "Voltron" or "Saber Rider and the Star Sheriff's"
Japanese animation songs were part of our childhood days and will always be. I remember that we were always very excited every weekend to watch Dragon Balls, Pokemon, Slamdunk, Flame of Recca, Doraemon, Naruto, Voltes V and many more. I am very happy that you have reacted to our dear Mona Gonzales. Please do react in her Part 2 and Part 3 compilation of Anime Songs. oh, also she has some individual covers of Anime Songs in her UA-cam Channel. Thank you again. Have a nice day.
Japanese has been part of every filipino's childhood.I started watching anime when i was a child, now i'm 33 and i still watch anime's.I get to memorize anime songs even though i can't understand it.I just love this anime song's ,it brings back my childhood days and i also love japanese people and all kind's of people with good heart's,🥰 sending my love wherever you are🥰 batang 90's🇨🇿❤🇯🇵
Filipino language is almost similar to Japanese in the way we speak hard vowel sounding words. This is why we can pronounce Japanese words easily. Learning them is a different story though lol.
anime songs are addictive and being anime series is usually played 5x a week so many actually memorize the version shown in tv. But her pronunciation is very good. The 2nd one is Voltes V around 1976. The other one is from Flame of Recca. The hardest one I heard is "Subakaso" from Rurouni Kenshin.
It's confusing that many of japanese people don't know the songs of all there anime, while filipino people specially born in 90's know all of the japanese anime , you know why?, when social media doesn't exist that time, all we do when we're young after 5pm class we all running to watch the series of japanese anime. If where late the first episode we are so angry, and if theres a song that they play we start singing also. That time when korean drama not exist japanese anime is our favorte It's start at 8am to 10:30am and in the afteronn 4pm to 6pm. Sorry for the english ty.
6:00 I think she's actually doing an impression to the original singer in the way they sang the song that's why her accent sounded like that in that song.
It can be that but japanese language is easy to pronouce if your asian well i can pronounce it well im filipino by the way, i guess we learn by hear we just copy the pronunciation.Maybe western county can't pronounce it that well. Example americans because they speak fancy, i watch a guy who's a hardcore weeb but still can't pronounce the name right he's stil got that accent that lengthen the name if you know what i mean, basically its so fancy Filipino language is almost similar yo Japanese in the way we speak hard vowel sounding words. This is why we can pronounce Japanese words easily. learning them is a different story thought lol. That's right!!!!
I am 90's kid from the Philippines, I know all the japanese anime' (so many to mention) soundtrack also from opening and ending part of the anime', I sing along with it.
Those were the days when i look forward to go home early to watch anime. Such nostalgia My fave song is ray earth, doraemon, flame of recca and naruto.
There were cases of anime fans who suddenly were able to sing ang spit out fluent Japanese songs from anime without even knowing Japanese, IDK it's like a talent that happened while watching anime we like.
all the kids from d 90's in the philippines know all this songs, so this are all common songs in the phkillipines, everyday in the afternoon i remember watching this anime shows everyday, and helps all the 90s kids develops lively personality...
dude, he didn't even know the voltes V theme song or the voltes V itself. well, his childhood is where slam dunk. ever since, the Philippines is so much inlove with anime in Japan.
I remember reading somewhere that Voltes V really didn't become popular in Japan, but that anime was very famous in PH. The song is even more popular for the 90's kids than the one from Yu Yu Hakusho or the one from Slam Dunk.

I guess voltes V is not really famous in Japan but here in Philippines it's one of the most popular anime.. even my aunt know it and she said she watches it when she was a teenager. And I'm shock when she said that at first I thought Voltes V is mostly known by kids 90S- 2000.. but when I heard that from my Aunt I realized that Voltes V is really a big hit even in generations of my uncle and aunt..
Sa Japan ata kasi hindi masyado nirereplay or ni rerewatch yung mga old anime .. hindi gaya sa Ph. Madalas replay for other younger generation.. minsan nag papa tugtug ako sa bus ng anime song.. in public bus while maraming pasahero.. nakaktuwa kapag may mga pasahero napapakanta or sinasabayan yung song..
We can pronounce those easily. We go by a e i o u them just add consonants. Though nowadays, we tend to be lazy at pronouncing. Like the word "siya". Most would pronounce "sha" instead of "si ya" like see ya in english saying it fast.
Here in Philippines we can really speak other language well the pronunciation or the accent especially Bisaya/Cebuano people because we had a really hard pronunciation that it is easier for us especially Japanese as we have similarities in pronunciation we are both have hard pronunciation and it is also easy for us to make it soft or slang to imitate other accents. Lovelots from PH.
In our generation also but sadly it was stop no one can continue............ Me and My ate are fan of this and we buy the CD officially and ............ hay so sad!

@@iSkitzo lol
Same here love to watch voltes V when were kids...in 40's now
I guess Voltes V is bigger international than in Japan.
Well, tv stations could only buy Voltes V and Daimos back then since the most popular one was a lot more expensive
It brings back my childhood days ❤
Those days, that I woke up at 7:30am and wait until the 'Unang Hirit' show ends before finally be able to watch anime 😂🤣

Filipino can adapt to any genre in singing..they are also good in mimiking the original singers

Voltes v was a pretty popular anime here in PH, GMA (a well known TV network here) recreated Voltes v in live action

The 2nd song was for Voltes 5! That made me sad that my fav childhood anime was not popular in Japan. Did not expect :/ Also Flame of Recca,
" VOWELS"
japan: A-I-U-E-O
Philippines: A-E-I-O-U
Usa: A-E-I-O-U
Filipino = Ah, Eh, Ih, Oh, Uuh
English = Ae, Ee, Ie, Ow, Yu
Magic knight ray earth song is my most favorite😊
The 2nd one is Voltes V's theme song.
the 2nd song is from voltez V. its the 2nd most popular japanese song here in our country coming next from chala head chala of dragon ball Z XD

voltes V before the the slam dunk i really loved that anime bring back memories
I'm surprised a Japanese guy really don't know the ost of Voltes V
I have also watched another japanese reacting to her who also doesnt know that Voltes V ost. Maybe that song is too old for them 😂
Voltes V is not popular AT ALL in Japan. It's more popular in the Philippines than in the country of its origin.
Obviously this guy is young voltes V was in the 70’s so figure it out
It was aired 1977 in Japan while it became really popular in the Philippines in the 90's
The 2nd song is voltes V hehe we love anime from japan thats why.
The song you didnt know is a song from anime Voltez V, Full metal alchemist "Again" And theme song of Flame of recca
When you analyze accents, you actually miss out on the childhood memories which the songs brings out.
Don't analyze, just enjoy going to the memories of your childhood.
not a true anime lover :P
