    Track-ready, street approved. Take it all on with the Alpinestars GP Pro R3 gloves. These gloves use a mix of cow and goat leather with kangaroo leather palms to optimize fit, protection, and dexterity. Long cuffs protect the wrists in a slide, while ventilated hard knuckles ride at the ready. Lock it all down with the Cuff DFS closure system. Additional features include outer seam palm construction, a finger bridge, soft padding protection on the finger tips, and CE certification (Level 2).

    It's refreshing to see at least one brand improve both product and price this year. Everyone else seems to be reducing prices at the cost of quality, or only reducing costs for themselves. Hopefully Alpinestars sets an example for the rest of the manufacturers thinking about cutting corners this season. (I'm looking at u Icon)

    Thx for the review. Ok i have the original gp pros in XL....Should I go L then? Or is that only when comparing R3 to R2 version? Thx again

    Between GP Tech and GP Pro R3, which one would you suggest?

    Does this glove have hard slider(s) at the bottom of the palm, or is it leather only?

    Hi. Is this glove suitable for daily use in summer conditions? Where I live, the temperature is between 30-40 degrees in summer.

    How about good afternoon, excuse me right now, which gloves would you buy the supertech or the gp tech v2

    I currently have "Alpinestars Celer V2" short cuff gloves, according to the size chart I'm exactly an "L" but I had to go for XL because I could barely put my hand fully in the "L", was way too tight.XL fits perfect! Should I listen to the size chart and go for "L" on the R3s or should I size up and go for XL on these ones too?

    • @quincy1665
      @quincy1665 3 роки тому

      not sure if you already bought them, I had the exact same switch. Had XL Celer V2's and therefore bought the XL GP Pro R3. Got them in today, unfortunately they are too big so I'm exchanging them for a pair of L

    Is the wrist closure strap longer this time? I remember barely being able to squeeze my hand in the r2 because the wrist wouldn’t open up enough (unless you pulled the strap out through the D ring)

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 років тому +1

      Yes, the wrist closure is slightly longer. Hopefully it should be long enough to not require removing from the buckle. -DrewZilla

      I've been using GP Pro R2 as an everyday commuter and weekend track days if that means anything for you.

      I also use the GP Pro R2 as a street glove and the R3 even looks more comfortable. I'd say the R3 over the Coretech all day but that's just my opinion of course

      If you can afford these, the quality is definitely a step up over Cortech. -DrewZilla

    I am a solid XXL in the original SP2. And fully broken in they are excellent. Video says he's xxl-xxxl, to go XL. I'm worried may be small XL. I tried GP Tech XXL, and was just too small, no way could use them. Thoughts..

      We found when putting these on that they fit extremely generous and that was our sizing recommendations come from. Spurgeon does not take his recommendations for sizing up or down lightly, if that helps. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Gear Geeks at 877.792.9455 or cs@revzilla.com. - Pat

    Which one has better ventillation compared to the GP Tech? I'd like to buy something for the summer. Thanks!

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 років тому

      The SP Air Gloves have the most ventilation for gauntlet gloves, but the GP Pro R3 Gloves are more protective. -DrewZilla

    Hi there,
    I'm currently with the Alpinestars SP-1 gloves size XL.
    Do you recommend ordering the GP Pro R3 in size XL as well ?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  4 роки тому +1

      If you are XL in the SP-1 Gloves, then XL in the GP Pro R3 Gloves should also be appropriate. -DrewZilla

    I have this issue where the dainese gloves wear too tight with the M to the point is painful and way too loose with the L size. How does Alpinestar wear compared to Dainese?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  3 роки тому +1

      Alpinestars have a very similar fit in our experience to Dainese.
      For something that would be an in between fit I would suggest looking at these Rev'It! options:
      www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-rsr-3-gloves
      www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-jerez-3-gloves
      These will fit just a bit more loose, so a Medium should provide a bit more room for you.
      I hope that helps!

      Very late but just in case might be helpful for someone, I had the same problem with Dainese Carbon 4 gloves, to the point that it was literally painful to remove and wear the gloves. They were extremely thight on the wrists area. Alpinestars are COMPLETELY different, at least for me. They fit perfectly fine, and the wrist area has much more room without sacrificing the length of the fingers. I've been wearing only Alpinestars gloves since then, even if I love dainese and got everything else from dainese the gloves are impossible for me to wear.

    I have a super tech large but its little small. Do u think i need a XL R3?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  4 роки тому +1

      The Supertechs fit a bit tight, so you could probably stay with size large in the GP Pro R3. -DrewZilla

    I'm normally a medium but I had to get large in the R2s. Only problem was that the fingers were too long. Almost every review on your website says the fingers are longer in the R3s. Do you think I should drop down to a medium or even a small so the fingers will fit better?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  4 роки тому +1

      The fingers will get shorter the smaller you go, but I would be careful about going to a Small because the palm might not fit at all. I have worn the Mediums in the older versions and the Mediums in the R3 work for me, especially after they break in the 10-15% that all gloves (especially throttle hand) will experience. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Gear Geeks at 877.792.9455 or CS@revzilla.com. Ride safe, -Pat

    Can you guys say anything about the alpine stars motogp gloves on wish/Ali express? I’m fairly sure they’re fake but still considering purchasing them, only issue is that I don’t know how well they would protect.

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 років тому +3

      The fake ones generally look good but have bad stitching and can come apart more easily. You can only be sure you're getting real Alpinestars by ordering from us or another authorized retailer. -DrewZilla

      Late reply, but never, EVER buy something that protects you from Wish/AliExpress.
      I buy from these sites, too. That's not the issues. But when it comes to your health and safety, you should never cheap out.
