4 out of 7 ENHYPEN members named V as their role model Kim Taehyung's impact on the 4th-generation of K-pop is immeasurable, and he further solidifies his title as the 'Idol of Idols'.
Finally got to catch up to this video. I-Land was a good show, and made me an immediate fan of the group Enhypen *who the winners debuted as* Fans would vote to help chose the members as well. Four other I-Landers K, Taki and Nicholas and EJ were then picked to debut for the Japan branch group &Team. Fun tidbit if nobody has mentioned yet, but Enhypen running lore is that they are Vampires, and the group &Team are Werewolves.
This is one of my favorite survival shows. I think you'd really like it (the episodes are pretty long and they stretch stuff out like all reality shows) but you really get to know most of the boys and appreciate the group that became Enhypen.
I-Land was a great show. It was how the group Enhypen was formed. Definitely worth watching the whole show. It gives a great insight on what trainees go through (although BTS never had it this good, that's for sure). It's a gruelling process. Thanks for reacting....it was great watching clips again.
There's also an episode where some members of Seventeen came and mentored them. I forget which one it was. One thing about these survival shows, the older idols usually come through because they know. They've been through something similar off camera or on, so they understand and pay it forward when their schedule allows. There's only one season of I-land. As others have said, this show is how Enhypen was formed. But Hybe currently has R U Next, a survival show for a girl group. I think only 2 episodes of that are out. But do watch I-land if you're interested.
I-Land was pretty intense but having watched a few idol survival shows... It's a lot less cruel than most of them. They were genuinely trying to form a solid group through pressure without breaking anyone. The boys in Enhypen talk about it pretty easily. And it's amazing to see how they all grow so quickly... They get a lot of direct mentoring from some of the best teachers in the business. You get to see them get harsh feedback sometimes, but also see them earn praise for their hard work. HYBE Japan later did &Audition with a core group of 4 who weren't chosen for Enhypen... And that show is even gentler. They emphasized teamwork from the start and no one was cut until the very end. There were no attempts to create interpersonal drama. I think it was still effective - &TEAM seem to be doing pretty well - and it was a delight to watch.
I remember when I was watching this part in the show, how much the kids admire them, it was so sweet. Seeing baby ENHYPEN again warms my heart, I’m glad they became the group that they are but I’m insanely great full they’re no longer on iland, that show was brutal and stressful for all of them.
Awwwwn BTS are so awesome to the 12 trainee smile's 😊😊😊but I love Jungkook, Jhope and V gift's more 😌😌😌but all the gifts are adorable tho God bless BTS and bless the trainees in good health and Mercy to AMEN 🙏💯🥰 wish them all the best
There are some people I do not find handsome but there is something about them that draws my attention and that is what I think charisma (attractiveness, mannerism etc.) is. And it's a bonus if you are also handsome.
Dude! I don't think I've ever seen J-Mac crack up this much before lol! I would love for you guys to react to I-Land. There is a part 1 and part 2, but all in one scene. It was such a good show! And almost all of those trainees debuted, although in different groups. I am still waiting on the last one.
I-Land was such a lovely series, where all that viewed it had their own bonds with the boys... and to see you reacting to the BTS episode here was just lovely and brought back lovely memories - so thank u
i-land was a competition show created by bighit and cjenm in 2020...its purpose was to find and solidify the members of enhypen (so 7 of the trainees you saw here are now members of enhypen, which debuted in november of 2020). enhypen are bts' brother group in hybe...a few of the trainees who did not make the lineup for enhypen on i-land then went on to form &team on another competition show hosted by bighit japan called &audition in 2022...&team debuted with 4 members who were on i-land and 5 more members from &audition in 2022 after the show...they are now bts' brother group in hybe as well under bighit japan. bts now have 4 younger brother groups under hybe (who were formed by hybe as well); txt, enhypen, &team, and boynextdoor. if you want to get into enhypen or &team i would highly suggest watching i-land and &audition to get to know the members and their journeys to the groups before you actually get into the groups themselves. you can watch i-land on the website viki and you can watch &audition right here on youtube!

As chaotic as I-Land was, it's a show that will put you through emotional distress. This show is what formed Enhypen.
I couldn’t remember what group i island formed!
The fact: Taehyung V most Handsome sexy attractive Hot...... in the world 🔥🔥🥵
14:23 Tae: DNA 🎶 DNA🎶
Them: *Blushed. Flustered. Awestruck. Heart eyes*

Didn’t realize that and now honestly enhyphens mv’s make more sense
Taehyung really talks with sense. Its true being handsome is different from being attractive.Luckily he was born with BOTH of it!
