@@nhiquang2291 Nope, Suga turned 30 on March 9th (he's only 3 months younger than Jin). J-Hope turned 29 on February 18th and RM is currently 28, he'll be 29 on September 12th.
Korean age is determined by the year of birth, regardless of the month in which you were born. so RM and JHope is same age, V and Jimin is same age in Korea.
@@nhiquang2291 You're going by their years and not their birthdays. Jin is still 30 until December, Yoongi is 30, Hobie is 29, Namjoon is 28 currently, Jimin and V are both 27 currently, and Kookie is 25 right now
71 year old Army here. I imagine you have been told, but the date at the bottom of their intro page is the date they were born. I was yelling at the screen! 😁 This year is the 10 year Anniversary Festa celebration of their debut. However, they were in training and forming the group about 2010-12. Jung Kook was 15 when they debuted as BTS and all the rest were also teenagers except Jin, the oldest, who was 20. So Jung Kook was about 13-14 when he joined Big Hit as a trainee. Jung Kook is the "Golden Maknae" of the group. The Maknae is the youngest and he is called Golden because he is good at everything he does. Every country has a different itunes list. So when they say most itune #1s they are referring to itune #1s in the most countries. Uh oh, boys to men? Pffffft!!! I am going to wash your mouth out with soap! Be afraid!!! 😊 Jimin studied martial arts starting when he was quite young. Also, they have many times slept in the practice room when they were younger. They use BTS Army Bombs or BTS light stick, not flashlights. You need to buy one! The one I have has doubled in price and is $99. It's the one with the BTS logo on it. Thanks you guys!!! 💜
Makes me smile when I see a dope old Army who is much older than me. 49 year old, academic Army here. Never been into Kpop before BTS. Found great artists through BTS, but my life is so busy & there is so much BTS content that I don’t have time for other groups. 😂 I’m a toddler, 2021 Army.
My bias is Jin. He loves to joke around and entertain people, but he is originally reserved and humble. WWH is his nickname that he admits to himself and others, but he thinks it's just a nickname and he makes it a joke. I love his humanity. And although he has worked hard to acquire the skills of singing and dancing that he has now, he has given to his younger brothers and does not come forward. Such a lovely man is the eldest brother of BTS.
I agree. I saw something where he said he jokes about it because he is surprised that people find him handsome outside of Korea. As if you have to be Korean to think they are beautiful. Sigh.
since we all know where ARMY stands i just wanted to let you all know these reactors are are queerphobic misogynistic trump supporters. check out their non-music reactions for proof.
Jungkook is so talented and he is the youngest which means maknae of the group. So he once said like ' I am the combination of my older brothers because they raised me so he has so much skills.
Despite what Jimin says about coming into the group with nothing, he couldn’t have been more wrong! He came into the group with hip hop, modern dance (jazz, ballet), contemporary dance, traditional S. Korean dance (virtually every genre of dance), the most unique MJ-esque vocals, and martial arts - which he also used in his dance! He was incredibly talented when he joined Big Hit! It’s the only reason he was able to join BTS with only 6 months training (altogether); he worked his a$$ off to catch up with the guys! Anyone else would not have survived that! The others had been training together already since 2010/2011! He’s the most humble human being who always minimizes his talents!!!
100%agree with you. He don't brag anything about his talents despite being the enormous talents he had in him. He is that humble. They all are but he just say all the time that he is not talented enough out of his humble nature that people who are new to BTS thinks that he is like that before he joins BTS but we know that's not true at all. I hope she delete that clip of him because I've seen people are misunderstanding him a lot. The clip is so precious for us Army's because we know why he is talking about but new people don't know the context behind that.🥺💜
Guys i havent watched the whole thing yet so i dont know if will get it as you proceed in the video, but the date and year, is their birthdays and when they were born. RM did not rap in 1994, he was born in 1994 💜😂
I want to laugh and cry at the same time when reactors mistakenly say their birthday as when they start hahahaha. About the housing they used to live together but now as RM says in last year Festa, " we almost 30 so we need to have more privacy" HAHAHAHA so now they live separately but most of them live close to each other especially Jin and Suga they live 5 min from each other house.
When JK says 15, it's actually only 13, just out of grade school, Koreans count their age different. So subtract 1-2 years to their ages when they talk about it.
@@OffTopic-f2b yup, so when he says his "hyungs" a term for older brothers raised him, they literally did. Jin would pack his school lunch, drive him to school, Suga would fetch him from school. Teenage years are formative years, so he would always say he is the culmination of the combined characters of his 6 brothers. Of course he is his own person/individual too but the hyungs really took care of doe eyed JK who missed his home.
when Jin says I'm worldwide handsome, he doesn't mean he's most handsome, he means he is considered handsome in diff. countries or worldwide. Haha anyway he just says it to break the ice and, as the oldest he likes to liven up the mood for the younger ones, he is 1/3 of the introvert line with JK, and Suga actually.
There was video clip I saw before where Jin said one of the reasons they stayed together that long is that none of the members have huge egos. Each and everyone wholeheartedly gave way to any member if they want to pursue something or do solo work. Bang PD (the guy who put BTS together and chairman of the board of HYBE (was Big hit) made a rule that when they fight, even if only 2 members had a disagreement, the whole team has to resolve it together. That created the synergy. Truly a team made in heaven. (Unlike other band such as One Direction who hates each other lol)
The numbers are their birthdays. They lived together for 10+ years. They started to purchase their own individual housing over the last few years but they didn’t live in them most of the time. Last year was when they decided to live individually. Jungkook is the youngest. He was 13 years old when he joined and was 15 years old when they debuted.
Thanks for the reaction. * The dates are their bdays heheh. Jin is the oldest and JK is the youngest. * absolutely true, the world needs BTS, as WE, ARMYS from around the world were united and HEALED by them. * I like many artist and groups growing up but never I've meet an artist like BTS who are so genuine and make efforts to connect with their fans. For BTS "ARMY first" b4 anything else. Either, award shows, boring days, even their own birthdays, they always celebrate live with the ARMYS. * I am a teacher and its quite weird to use artist to influence students but YES, I did that with my field now and true indeed, my teens see the values and importance of family, handling depression etc. THATS BTS 💜
since we all know where ARMY stands i just wanted to let you all know these reactors are are queerphobic misogynistic trump supporters. check out their non-music reactions for proof. (^ thats copy & paste but since ur a teacher u should know they support the war on teachers happening in red states rn)
Love love love your reaction to this! Thank you 🙏💜. Fact: even today the radio stations refuse to play BTS music despite how much ARMYs request...we never stopped finding other ways.
True. I'm in the States on the East Coast and I have Never heard a BTS song on the radio - not even any of their all-English songs. :-( So, I basically don't listen to radio unless I desperately need something on in the car.
since we all know where ARMY stands i just wanted to let you all know these reactors are are queerphobic misogynistic trump supporters. check out their non-music reactions for proof.
Only last year they separated from one home. Since their debut they lived together, and do all the things together as a group. They are family not only as a group. They help each other grow to be good and very humble people as they are now. I love how you guys react to them. I purple you, borahea.
The dates when each member was introduced was their birthdate. It is an 18 month minimum tour of duty in the military in South Korea. A lot of the professional footballers are quasi-exempt from this. They may not have to serve, but they are required to do a specific number of hours of community service, which they will often do during the off season. There were HUGE debates in the Korean government as to whether or not to exempt BTS, but the guys never once asked for exemption and they didn't wait to find out what the government would decide. Think of BigHit (Hybe) as a combination talent agency/Juliard type school. kids are scouted for many reasons and others audition. If they make it, they are trained in a variety of fields, singing, rapping, dancing, presentation, public speaking, acting... while still attending school. Groups our formed out of these individuals and it can take YEARS as a trainee before you debut, and there is no guarantee you will. It was three years from the time RM was singed to the time BTS debuted and there were other artists that were potential members before the final 7 were decided. Supreme Boi, one of the HYBE producers and a feature on a few BTS songs, was almost part of the group, but he decided he wanted to focus on producing; he's worked on over 100 BTS tracks and some of their mixtape tracks as well. And yes, they all LIVED TOGETHER in that tiny one bedroom apartment. They did do a reality show in 2014 in LA called "American Hustle Life"; some parts are really cringy for different reasons and other parts are gold.
Sorry to comment so much but let me break down the family dynamic for you. Jin is the unserious oldest brother. He takes care of the younger ones but cracks dad jokes while he does it. In the Early days he used to wake up early every day to make Jungkook’s lunch and take him to school. Suga is the quiet brother, who tries to look tough, but behind the scenes he’s doing the most for each of the other members. J Hope is the hyper one, who is also the yes man. Anything you ask him to do for you he will do it. RM is the brainy and responsible brother. He tries mostly unsuccessfully to get the other members to do their homework and follow the rules. Jimin and V are the twins. They bicker the most, but also have the closest relationship. Jimin is also the most supportive brother, while V is the brother with ADHD. Jungkook is the adored baby brother. He can do no wrong in his older brother’s eyes. He could murder somebody, and the other members would tell him what a good job he did and make him sit on the couch and drink Banana Milk while they all cleaned up the body.
For each kpop company they will train like 20 to 30 trainees and from that pool of trainees they will select the group. The video is in the order they joined Bighit as trainees, not necessarily joined BTS because the final lineup wasn't decided until 2012. The training period can be as short as a few months or as long as 10 years in some extreme cases. Usually it's around 2-5 years training period. Also remember BTS was originally supposed to be a group filled with rappers but when they decided to change the direction of the group many of the trainees left Bighit because they didn't want to dance.
That's not true. j-hope was the first to become a trainee at BigHit among the seven members. He was there for almost a year before RM joined the label. (They talk about this in the 2018 (?) Summer Package. j-hope just wasn't added to the BTS lineup until a couple of months after RM (and about a month after Suga). So it's the order they joined the BTS lineup just not the FINAL BTS lineup (as others came and went).
This is my 7th year with BTS and I have never for even a second regretted it. They are that special, I’m glad you are taking the time to get to know them better.
Today, JK achieved a Billboard All Kill Hot100, Global, Global exec. Us . All#1's. With this win, BTS matched The Supremes and The Beatles with at least 6 #1s and 1Sololist#1
That moment (11:44) where you thought RM was 14 in 1994 almost took me out... those are their birth dates. RM was born in 1994. Imagine: the biggest group in the world now all in their mid-40s, looking like 20-somethings and still going hard with all that choreo. A couple of them only just turned 30 in 2022 and 2023 (after working for over a decade already). 😄 About the dancing - yes, they all dance like pros because they trained intensively for a couple of years before debut, but the original dance line (J-Hope, Jimin, Jungkook - also known as the "Three J's") had background in dance or, in Jungkook's case, extra training early on in his trainee days (I think he took hip hop classes in the US, like a summer program or something). V didn't have any of that background - but he very quickly proved himself to be a natural at it. Same with the rappers - RM and Suga were underground rappers (who, seemingly from birth, had the impulse to write lyrics and express themselves through spoken word) and J-Hope only learned to rap during his trainee days - and he too turned out to be a natural with his own distinct style. There's a general impression among Armys that RM raps with his mind/intelligence, J-Hope with his body, and Suga with his soul/heart (and all three are in the same group: body, mind and soul. But of course, all three are a combination of all of these aspects). Also, what's amazing is Jin and Jimin never sang before... and they became such distinctive vocalists in the group. And RM and Suga who were initially 'against' having to dance now perform all their choreo with ease and precision (both have natural swag in spades, which gives their movements extra punch - compensating for any 'pure dance skill' they might 'lack'). But you're right - ALL of them are strong in everything. They have to be, to keep up with each other. The fact that some had to work even harder to level up to the others (in different areas) shows just how committed and devoted they were, and are, to the group as a whole. If you watch with a close eye, you can see that the dance line is definitely stronger and more supple in all their moves (every move articulated down to their fingertips, stronger movements grounded in their 'center of gravity', extra core strength, more athleticism, more fluidity) - and yet, as a group, no one ever stands out for not being able to keep up or match the vibe of the choreo. Really admirable stuff. Note: in Korea, you're counted as already a year old on the day you're born, and then on every Jan 1, you automatically count another year regardless of your birth month. This is called "Korean age". But "international age" is the straight-up biological one (not the culturally understood age). So when Jungkook says he was 15 when he joined BTS, he was actually 13-14, and he debuted at age 15/the year he would turn 16 in September. I hear that the country intends to use just "international age" from this year on but I don't know if it will happen instantly. "Korean age" is so culturally ingrained as well.
They have their own reality shows callled Bon Voyage 1-4 where they travel together. During the pandemic, because they can't travel, they have staycations show called In the Soop 1&2. They also have a show called Run BTS where they play games or missions where the winner gets prices or loser gets punishment. Welcome to the greatest rabbit-hole 💜💜💜
OK. You’ve got me. Your so immediate understanding of how BTS creates bonds of love, trust, joy and healing around the world can only permit me to subscribe. Bless you all. 74 year old American woman living in Sweden, Jerri.
This question has probably been answered but, Jin is the "visual" of BTS, picked for his literal face for the group. It doesnt mean he's the most handsome persay, attractiveness is objective of course but ARMY will always agree Jin is undoubtedly World Wide Handsome 💜
They are on Hiatus as a group (as of Oct '22) and currently only 2 members are enlisted (May '23). Their military services is 1.6-2yrs depending on what branch and their position. Keep in mind, SUGA has been on a solo world tour since Feb 2022 and his last shows are Aug 4,5,6 online concert included. They have released a lot of content, SUGA (has a show), RM - Indigo album and 2 music videos, Jhope - released Album and single with JCole, Jin release Astronaut, Jimin released FACE album and 2 Music videos, V has done a Jazz segment and a potential album. Likewise, JK just released SEVEN and working on an mini album coming in Oct. They also have a BOOK that just came out and it has reached #1 NY best seller. There is more coming and we are always shocked.
As of today only two members are in the military, Jin & J Hope are in the military all the members will join conscientious year for they comeback in 2025. Military service in South Korea is for 18 months. JK and V will be releasing they solo albums soon. Jin released the Astronaut before he went in, J Hope released On The Street with J Cole before he went in. There is so much content which should keep you going until 2025. Thank you for reacting to this video💜💜 also those dates where their birthdays.
@@OffTopic-f2b Just a suggestion but they have videos that are like guess the member of BTS by their face for people trying to learn their names and who is who. You should give those kind of videos a try if nothing else it could be a good laugh of you guys debating who is right and wrong.
V is very well-known for sneaking into social media and gaming platforms anonymously. He often will later tell members or fans about conversations held during it (keeping other's privacy respected, of course) and recalls moments that made him feel happy or connected (which is difficult for him to do as a celebrity in regular life).
Answering a couple of your questions: RM was born in 1994.💜 The figurines in Suga's studio are art works (possibly limited-editions) by N.Y. artist Kaws. RM and JHope also own several Kaws pieces. 💜The Bull's and BTS (especially Suga) have a bond. And in April, Suga was announced as an NBA Ambassador. His love for basketball is no joke in the sports world. 💜ARMY doesn't pick "most" "best" out of the BTS members, we love them all for themselves.💜The big house they are in is from the reality show In The Soop, they didn't live there. They lived in Seoul in the dorm.💜 Jin is the serious gamer. FYI: 2020 BTS premiered their song Dynamite in the game Fortnite. It was cool. 💜S.K. military service is 18 months. Jin and JHope are in the service now. 💜 It made me happy to hear you say, at the end of the video, that you are ARMY. Borahae ! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
They lived together for a long time, in the first years of debut the 7 shared a single room, then they moved and started to have more rooms available, some shared rooms like Jin and Suga, others had a room alone like Jungkook. Currently they live close to each other are like neighbors. The Realities they appear cooking are 1- American Hustle Life 2- In The Soop 3- Bon Voyage The members who cook the most for Kindred are Jin, Jungkook, and Suga.
You hit the nail on the head here (1:01:25): "Everyone is like a piece of the puzzle. BTS [wouldn't] be BTS without any [one] of them." / "...and that particular seven as well. If one of them was replaced with anyone else, it might not have worked." And here (1:14:14): "I think that the true goal of BTS is to be worldwide - to change this world; to be worldwide and spread their love and experiences... so we can learn to be better people."
yes!!! i clicked faster than AGUST D's rap 💜 your reactions make me smile.. dont worry guys, you find BTS when you need them. at the right time. and dont beat yoyrself up if you mix their names and faces, it took me months to correctly recognize them. ive been ARMY for 5 years now and i still have lots of BTS content i havent watched. and you need to listen to their japanese songs, its what made me an ARMY. their japanese songs are so good and slower so i can sing along with most of them. Korean is hard man, been studying Hangeul for almost 3 years now. its fun learning with ARMYs though. btw, Namjoon's MONO album is my therapy, listen to all songs in order and you'll be feeling happy instantly. hope you enjoy your BTS journey!! 💜 BTS are amazing artists and human beings. stan the right group. 💜
Wow, I’m glad that UA-cam suggested me your reaction, I truly enjoyed it! I also struggled a lot at first to tell members apart, but their shows helped a lot (they have variety show Run BTS, travel show Bon Voyage and reality show In the Soop). They have very different personalities which made it easier to differentiate them by their behaviour and body language. This eventually helped to learn their faces to the point it is not possible to mix them up anymore. And they are so hilarious and fun to watch! Anyway thanks for this hour together. You’re nice, keep going 💜
"How old is he?"- Namjoon is only 28 turning 29 this coming September 12. He was born in 1994. The date in each member's intro is their birthday not the date of their performance. LOL!. He was only 19 when they debuted in 2013. BTS is on hiatus due to mandatory military enlistment for 18 months. Jin and Jhope have already gone to the military. So the members are now doing their solo stuff but they're enlisting one by one this year and will come back hopefully in 2025 or 2026. Love your reaction. BORAHAE 💜
RM was actually 18 when they debuted since his birthday is in September. It’s a little weird when BTS are talking about their ages like they all are 30 when there’re only two members that have turned 30. RM released his solo album last year at 28, and he talked about it as a sum up of his 20s turning 30 when he recently had his 28th b-day!
So happy to see you guys reacting to this and taking BTS seriously. I must admit when I saw your first reactions I thought you were taking the mickey. So glad you continued. Yes, all of them are multi-talented, it's amazing really. How they came to be chosen as the 7 to make up BTS, even Bang PD (their boss and CEO of Hybe) doesn't know how to emulate it. No-one can create a team like this. If or when you react to the rest of the Intro videos which give you a different perspective (important as this gives a fuller picture into them) you'll see just how crazy it was that they coalesced into the supergroup we know as BTS! To me, they're God given and I'm not joking. Their positivity and healing messages have literarily saved lives and they teach everything from the perspective of LOVE. Even when the rap line are dissing their haters they do it with class and not from a negative perspective. However, it's hard hitting. Rap line are called the 'real MC's' by other rappers and although not being into rap I don't exactly know what it means but I'm assuming they give them the respect they now deserve which they didn't have from the beginning. If you're interested I'll drop the other intro's below, as well as you expressed an interest in their other shows: Please do watch them all eventually as they will give you a different perspective of BTS and their history, one isn't enough to get the full picture. 1:10:36 Yes background instrumental version of Spring Day guys you got it ! Keep going you will got their faces eventually and one day you will realize that you can even know them from their backs haha
Thanks for reacting to this. You still seem a little confused with names and ages but that's ok, you'll get there 🥰 The dates under the members' names were their dates of birth not the date they joined. Jin is the oldest, and Jung Kook (JK) is the youngest. They each have to serve a minimum of 18 months in service and Jin and j-hope have already entered. Interesting point about gaming, SUGA just released a song with Halsey for Diablo IV called "Lilith (feat. SUGA)" - it is a new version of a song that was on one of her earlier albums that was remade for the game anthem. SUGA has said he played Diablo I, II, and III an couldn't wait for IV to come out - he bought a new laptop so he could play the game while he is on tour. Thanks again!
Jin definitely has the most welcoming/inviting appearance among all the members, regardless of who is subjectively the most handsome. That's why he is the visual. If visual was just about sexiness, they are all visuals.
Thanks for the reaction. I love them all, but sometimes I tend to lean towards whoever is singing or rapping at the time. I'm 84, seen lots of singers and musicians in my time, but like you, this is the first time I've been so into everything about them. 💜💜
I know most of us have watched this video (through reactors) a million times, but it never gets old. Im an ot7 army (i can't pick a bias... Ijust like all of them). This video gives me my ot7 fill.
Thanks so much for your honest reactions. We felt the same way when we first came across these selfless and humble men. I look forward for more reactions to BTS. PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING. Recommendations are their videos, dance practices, live performances and docu-series like The Rise of Bangtan and Break the Silence.
Their Japanese songs are a beauty. Amazing vocals, amazing lyrics, amazing vibe. They lived together for about 7 years. And they have this shows where they go on trips together: In the Soop and Bon Voyage
I saw just today that now J Hope has 15M followers on Spotify. He is so talented as are the other six members. Never saw a group (and I've lived through many) where every single member is ultra talented.
I was a teen in the 90s so seen alot of groups over the years but never one were every single member seems like they are the perfect fit with eachother, their spot in their group & each with a successful carrier on their own. Combine brains (smarts), with mad talent/skills & knowing how to play the field if the top cut you off (youtube etc) & you got BTS. Their carrier been like a game of chess & they (everyone involved) played their moves right, but ofcourse, not without blood, sweat & tears. I got mad respect for them just in general, dont need to be a fan really to have that, especially when you know their story & what the odds was. Great reaction! 🙂Greetings from Sweden & Happy early Midsummer! (24th)
I have been part of ARMY for about 2 yrs now and I am so happy they are part of my life. The statement that ARMY is of all ages is so true. I am almost 45 and I share their music with my grandma who is almost 90. She loves BTS. She asks who has gone in the military every time I see her. Great reaction. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I love how RM categorized the percentage of their Success, instead of saying cliche things like "Oh I'll give 100% to our Fans" He mentioned Everyone who is behind their Success, n thts a Great Leader right there. BTS don't fake it, like many other Artists do. n Even tho BTS is the one who made Army and their small company This big by their Hardwork, Amazing Music n Lyricism, he still gave themselves a small portion of their Success when they r the one who deserves the most, thts why I love BTS 💜💜
BTW RM taught himself English from watching the tv series Friends!!!!! An IQ of 148 is genius level so it's not a shocker lol. They are all such beautiful people and truly are the GOATs💜💜💜💜💜💜 welcome to the world of BTS!!!
Mandatory military service is 18 months. Jin started in December last year, JHope about 3 months ago. They other will be doing their service, too in the next 2 - 3 years. Usually all capable men in SK have to do military service till 28 years but they got an extention till 30. Jin turned 30 last year, SUGA & JHope are 29, RM 28 and the maknae line is 27 and 25 respectively. And yes they had some of the least sleep times ever. In their hiatus right now, we hear that they sleep a lot, and still churn out a lot of content for us. They were all babies when they started, in 2011 they were all in their teens when they joined the company. Until 2022 they lived in an apartment together, they have been living in various dorms since their training days. Since 2022 as they are on break due to the mandatory military service, they are in chapter 2 their solo era, and this year is the 10th anniversary and they still came together and prepared so much for ARMY pre-recording a lot of stuff. ARMY is diverse in age, gender, nationality. I am 55 and have been ARMY since 2014 (casual listener since their debut).
BTS lived in the same apartment (all seven members) for more than 9 years since their trainee days and started to live separately after their 9th debut anniversary in 2022. They now bought their own apartment in Seoul, South Korea and live their by themselves. It's been 1 year since they started living separately, they are more like family to each other ❤️✨
For the question about the most handsome - it really depends on the individual viewer but I personally find Jin to be the most visually appealing but they are all very handsome and extremely talented young men.
BTS each has to do mandatory military service for 18mos-2yrs. Will be back as a group in 2025, from each member finish military. 3 members are in military now: Jin, J-Hope and Suga. The other 4 members will enlist in service end of this year (2023) So has is why you see "miss you", we're wait for you. So BTS decided to do solo albums since they couldn't sing as a group because of the military separating them. When each member finish their solo album they will enlist. I was born in 1984, and I saw all bunch of Boy'bands rise and fall. What did they have in common? One talented artists carrying the rest of the group on his back. In BTS, each member brings something to the group. That's why they're all so successful as a soloists as well .
This guys BTS is such an admirable individuals, always working hard to improve themselves so that they don't disappoint all the people who loved them and routing for them. Thank you so much for reacting to this guys! Appreciate you much! BORAHAE! 💜 💜 💜
bts lived together for almost 8-9yrs and just last year they official moved into their own houses, and that clip you saw, the one in the kitchen is from a show they did.
Pretty much every country has that kind of distinctions/titles/orders/medals for contributing to culture, education, society, etc. Usually nobody pays attention, but it exists 😅
A couple comments to clarify things for you hopefully. 1) In K-Pop, there are positions with Main as highest then Lead. So, when they say J-Hope and Jimin are the "Main" Dancers and Jungkook is the Main Vocalist, they are at the top in the group in those categories and carry extra responsibilities with those titles. Now "Leader" as in RM is different than "Lead", in that he leads the entire group. J-Hope has often been referred to as the second leader (by RM himself). 2) The ages they were showing were Korean age, which is something like 2 years older than International Age. So, when Jungkook said he joined at 15, he actually joined at 13 and made his debut at 14 or 15 as the Main Vocalist, Sub-Rapper, and a Lead Dancer. (J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook often do dance routines together and call themselves 3J. They were considered the Dance Line since they were the best dancers, and then V was added to the Dance Line in 2018, but Yes, at this point they can all dance.) J-Hope and Jimin are the Main Dancers, Jungkook is a Lead Dancer. RM and Jin took the longest to learn the dance moves. Suga does really well. They all do now because they worked hard at it.) Also, the dates under their names were their birthdates. So, Jin is the oldest, then Suga, then J-Hope, then RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. Their ages now are 25 through 30, I believe, and were 15 - 20 or 21 at their debut on June 13, 2023. Also, when they joined the company, they joined as Trainees. Originally, BTS was intended to be a Hip Hop group - thus the 2 rappers were brought in first, and the dancer to fit that style. Then they decided to make it an Idol group and brought in others to train as vocalists and dancers (thus Jin, Jungkook, V and Jimin...I think in that order). Suga was initially training as a Producer and honing his skills as a rapper. When it became an idol group, he (and the others) had to learn to dance. Jungkook was deemed to be the best trainee to send to the states for dance training for a couple months - just he and their in-house choreographer. He was so successful that apparently Big Hit/Hybe now sends all their trainees to the states to learn dance (per one of those interview videos). So, the members joined the company in 2010 through 2012, but they didn't make their debut until June 13, 2013 as BTS. They spent that much time training, AND writing, composing and producing songs for their debut. 3) Please watch a video called Jungkook as the Main Vocalist of BTS by Ida S. You'll get a better idea of what that means - but in a nutshell, he sings most of the vocal guides that the other members then learn their parts from, meaning he sings all of their parts. That's a lot of work for as many songs as they have and he has done it for solo works for some of them as well. Also, Jungkook is trained in martial arts as well, but I don't know what belt he has. 4) "Run BTS" is the name of their variety show. There are 155 episodes plus 3 or 4 Special Episodes they did for us in 2022. They started doing those in 2015, I believe, because other Korean show hosts were so rude to them. It's so fabulous and the shows get better every episode. You'll get to know their personalities better by watching these. They are now on BANGTANTV channel. I'm not 100% sure they all have English subtitles though, especially the earlier ones. 5) "In the Soop" and "Bon Voyage" are only available as paid shows and I think are now on Weverse (they used to be on VLive, but VLive no longer exists). Bon Voyage had 4 seasons and is a show following them on their travels to different places. In 2020 and 2021 they did "In the Soop" (meaning In the Forest) because they couldn't travel outside Korea so it's a staycation at some remote place in S. Korea. It's like a week long staycation but they are basically filmed in everything they do, including sleeping. In 2021, they basically built a huge accommodation for them with multiple buildings. Now, other groups use it too, and they rent it out to others to stay at last I heard. FYI - the members often go live individually on Weverse, and ARMY translates fairly quickly on Twitter and on UA-cam. Jungkook often sings for us Karaoke style from his home, although the last one he "slept with us" (really...lol). Sometimes he cooks, sometimes he works out, sometimes he does laundry. :) The latest ones were V, and then Jimin. They also send messages to ARMY via Weverse. ARMY Membership officially can be purchased on Weverse Shop, which is strongly suggested to have any shot at going to one of their concerts. I am official ARMY and tried so hard to get tickets in pre-release for Las Vegas (4 shows) and couldn't manage to get 1 ticket. :-( 6) Suga now has his own drinking/talk show and has guests for each show. He is up to 12 episodes and the last guest was Jin (and a surprise guest as well). It was prerecorded in 2022. The show is called "Suchwita" and is on BANGTANTV channel. 7) About the S. Korean military, yes, it is mandatory for all able-bodied men. It isn't 6 months, it is 18-24 months last I heard (I'm not Korean). So far, only Jin and J-Hope are enlisted (Jin went in December 2022, and J-Hope went in April 2023). We aren't sure who is next, but Jungkook has mentioned going and they will all have to go sometime this year if they will be making a comeback in 2025 sometime. Jin has told us that he will be out in time for Festa in 2024 (their 11th Anniversary). The others should still all be enlisted. That said, they pre-recorded a new song called Take Two and filmed a Live version of it, among other things, to celebrate their 10th anniversary of their debut (June 13, 2023). They started celebrating May 31st and the celebration officially ends June 17th. BANGTANTV will air a live stream of a fireworks show and apparently Jungkook will be speaking at that, but he is currently in the U.S. so I think that it must be pre-recorded. 8) All of them except V and Jungkook have put out solo songs or albums since this video was done. J-Hope with "Jack in the Box" album and he headlined at Lollapalooza in Chicago last year, RM with "Indigo" album, Jin with solo song in collab with Coldplay called "The Astronaut" which he flew all the way to Argentina to perform live at one show with Coldplay, Jimin with "Face" album, Suga/AgustD with "D-Day" album and he is completing his solo tour which will end in Seoul later this month. We know both Jungkook and V are working on their first ever solo albums. RM has also mentioned he is working on a different project that will likely come out next year, when he is in the military. I think Jimin also said he is working on more music, but that's all I know about that. These guys plan things way in advance. They work so, so hard, it's amazing! 9) Yes, they are "brothers"/family now. Initially, only Jimin and Jungkook had tattoos, but in 2022, ALL of the members got a "7" tattoo in different places (Jungkook behind his ear, Jimin on the side of a finger, V on his leg, Jin on his lower back, RM and J-Hope I think on their ankles, and the only one we haven't seen is Suga's. They are BTS forever! Sorry for the long comment. I hope it was of some use. Borahae!
I was going to leave a comment, but your comment is sooo informative I really hope they see and read your comment! Thanks for giving them this crucial information ARMY! There’s soo much to inform new fans and sadly it doesn’t fit in one comment section hahah 💜💜

You’re so right - they do play League 😂 there’s actually a Run BTS episode where they play league with T1 (competition level players from SK) really LOVE watching your journey - it’s such a joy to see people falling for our kings! They deserve so much love! You probably won’t even be fully caught up with content by the time they all enlist and come back 2025-26 😂
First of all, thank you for giving the Bangtan boys a chance and appreciate them, their talent, their crafts and their hard work. I really admire you for it. I feel sometimes when people think about the word "boy band", it could turn them off because the stereotype of boy band had in the past (boys singing & dancing about romantic love and screaming young teenage girls, etc) but then when you actually listen to BTS' music and learn their message, you will realize that BTS is far from a typical boyband indeed. However, most people already wouldn't give them a chance because of the word "Boyband". In fact, BTS 'fan base is so diverse in demography. Let me tell you this, I am a 44 years old with two young kids. I love BTS not just because of their visuals but their music, message, talent, hard working, and how & who they are, their music gives the positive and meaningful message, it is the kind of music that I would like my kids to grow up with (since a lot of music out there these days likes to talk about thug, drug, sex or other bad stuff.) I introduced BTS music to my kids and now we are fans of them. I think it is pretty cool that my kids and I are growing older and closer together listening to the same music. "If you listen to music without prejudice, you will like BTS' music". -- by Suga of BTS. I hope you’ll continue digging into BTS’ music and message. You’ll not be disappointed! PS. BTS have been a group for 10 years now but Namjoon and Yoongi in particular have been in that dorm together for 13 years. The members learned to appreciate and respect one another over time and thats how they lasted so long. They want to succeed, surely, but more than individual success they attribute all they have to BTS because they did build their career up from literally nothing. Putting their ego aside and combining their ambition to work together on this project forged bonds that aren't broken over petty arguments and them all being so young when they lived together aligned their core values. Even now that they grow their individual careers and projects during this "break" as they enlist to serve their country, they always show love, consideration and support for one another. They're a family, tried and true 💜
you guys not naming any of them right on the Airplane Pt.2 picture was hilarious XD you were so confident as well lol I'm sorry for laughing but it was so funny
Helpful info: 1) In 2023, South Korea finally adopted the use of international ages. Until now, and reflected in this video, members state their ages in the previous S. Korean age system. Basically, when you were born, you were considered 1 year old. Then, on Jan 1 each year, you turned another year older no matter when your actual birth date is. Jungkook actually joined the company at 13 yo and debuted at 15 yo. 2) In Asian culture, your surname is stated first and then your given name. 3) Since they announced their pause on group activities this time last year in order to prepare for their mandatory military service, j-hope, RM, Jimin and Suga/AgustD have all released solo albums and Jin released a solo single. JK is set to release his album next month and we’re not sure when V’s is coming, but soon. Also, Jimin stated on his most recent livestream that he’s working hard on music, so it’s possible we might get more from him in the not so distant future. 4) Their messages have gotten more and more positive as the years have passed. As a group, they have always challenged “the system” and societal norms. That’s why so many of us connect with them and respect them so much. 5) So many of their songs need explanations to really understand the deeper meaning and cultural context/references. You may want to search for explanation videos, as well as Behind the Scenes/making of, for music videos. It’s amazing to see how many practical effects they use. DKDKTV and xCeleste are two reliable channels for explaining things. Thanks for continuing to learn about these wonderful men! Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thanks for the effort but i doubt they will read all this .. i am still not sure about this channel tbh but i am still watching their journey to see if they are genuine. cuz some reactors show their true colors soon and some eventually lose interest in bts or some just upload for views and not really interested in bts
Actually BTS members lived together for 10- 11 years or so. 2 years before debut and 8-9 years after debut. They lived together dorm style in Apartments. Now they have their individual homes. The scenes shown in this documentary though are from ‘In the Soop’ which is a staycation reality tv show.
the mandatory military service in South Korea is not 6mos though. service time period for the South Korean Army and Marines is 21 months, the Navy is 23 months, and the Air Force is 24. two members of BTS (Jin and Jhope) are already inside the military service while the other members will follow as soon as they are finish with their individual projects but they will be back as a group by 2025.
Yes they all lived together, even when they upgraded to a large apartment, until a few years ago. Also, JK’s Live’s on Weverse are epic! He cooks, does laundry, sings and even sleeps with millions of us watching💜
The date that appears at the beginning of each member is their date of birth. They lived for a long time together. Now everyone has their home.. Additionally, since the TV and radio channels did not call them, they began to do live from the beginning, They then started their own variety shows (called Run) and also videos of their vacations together.😊
You thinking that RM started rapping in 1994 had me zoned out the whole video 😂😂😂

JK is the youngest. Jin is 30, Suga is 30, JHope is 29, RM is 28, Jimin and V are 27, and JK is 25.
Thank you!
@@nhiquang2291 He was born in march 1993 , so he is 30
@@nhiquang2291 Nope, Suga turned 30 on March 9th (he's only 3 months younger than Jin).

I'm 47 and I feel a connection. They are so humble and talented.
71 year old Army here. I imagine you have been told, but the date at the bottom of their intro page is the date they were born. I was yelling at the screen! 😁
This year is the 10 year Anniversary Festa celebration of their debut.
Jimin studied martial arts starting when he was quite young.
Also, they have many times slept in the practice room when they were younger.
They use BTS Army Bombs or BTS light stick, not flashlights. You need to buy one! The one I have has doubled in price and is $99. It's the one with the BTS logo on it.
Thanks you guys!!! 💜
Thank you! As always, you come in with information we need! Alway appreciated =)
Love this hi Army 🥰💜💜
😆😂🤣😆😂🤣
My bias is Jin. He loves to joke around and entertain people, but he is originally reserved and humble. WWH is his nickname that he admits to himself and others, but he thinks it's just a nickname and he makes it a joke. I love his humanity. And although he has worked hard to acquire the skills of singing and dancing that he has now, he has given to his younger brothers and does not come forward. Such a lovely man is the eldest brother of BTS.
I agree. I saw something where he said he jokes about it because he is surprised that people find him handsome outside of Korea. As if you have to be Korean to think they are beautiful. Sigh.

Agree!
Agree.
💯

RM did not rap in 1994, he was born in 1994 💜😂
@bulldog it's his fault! Hahaha
I was about to comment this 😂
RM started rapping instead of crying the day he was born 😅 he's GOAT!
@@PurpleBlood13 lmao i laughed hard but true facts !
How old did they think they were? Lmao
I mean, they do look younger than they are but that will be too much 😂
I want to laugh and cry at the same time when reactors mistakenly say their birthday as when they start hahahaha. About the housing they used to live together but now as RM says in last year Festa, " we almost 30 so we need to have more privacy" HAHAHAHA so now they live separately but most of them live close to each other especially Jin and Suga they live 5 min from each other house.
Me to😭😭
I don’t get how so many make that mistake. It seems so obviously it’s a date of birth 😂
Also Jhope and another member (Tae I think or maybe RM) have apartments in the same building/complex.
Jimin, Jin and JK all have black belts in Taekwondo. There’s even a mini movie with JK about a Taekwondo club in a school.
When JK says 15, it's actually only 13, just out of grade school, Koreans count their age different. So subtract 1-2 years to their ages when they talk about it.
Wow!
THATS BTS 💜

This was so helpful, thank you. And thank you for taking the time to explain with detail.
This was a shit explanation ngl
Hey you did Jk dirty😅😂😂😂... it's sort of accurate though😂😂... and they do scold him, specially during the early years he got scolded a lot....
ADHD🤣🤣

I am a 67 yr old BTS fan from California. I love what BTS represents to the world. Good people, humble, funny and extraordinary in talent.
Hi from California! 50+ year old army. Thank you to my daughter. 💜💜. Dope was my first look, RM was instantly my bias. Reminds me of my son.
Update : bts has more than 900 awards
UPDATE: 1400 awards now!
Thank you! 😊
There is more coming and we are always shocked.
they are all good looking ..but jin is official visual of the group .. and no joke picture and video is just 1% of this man beauty
🤣 try again gents. I can only distinguish RM when I first discovered them. But now I can recognize by voice, eyes, lips 😂
they had me crying going back and forth lmaoo
Oh wow!
🙈🙉🙊
And also by shadow or silhouette😂
Borahae ! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
they have a show called BON VOYAGE with 4 seasons and IN THE SOOP with 2 seasons it was their vacation thats why theyre in 1 house
Kim namjoon is now credited around 217 songs that made him first youngest idol with the most song copyrights.
They lived together for a long time, in the first years of debut the 7 shared a single room, then they moved and started to have more rooms available, some shared rooms like Jin and Suga, others had a room alone like Jungkook. Currently they live close to each other are like neighbors. The Realities they appear cooking are
1- American Hustle Life
2- In The Soop
3- Bon Voyage
The members who cook the most for Kindred are Jin, Jungkook, and Suga.
Left to right is: Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, V (Tae), Jin, Jimin and RM (Rap Monster). Latin Pop, Airplane Pt. 2. Thanks for the video, guys.👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
yes!!! i clicked faster than AGUST D's rap 💜 your reactions make me smile.. dont worry guys, you find BTS when you need them. at the right time. and dont beat yoyrself up if you mix their names and faces, it took me months to correctly recognize them. ive been ARMY for 5 years now and i still have lots of BTS content i havent watched. and you need to listen to their japanese songs, its what made me an ARMY. their japanese songs are so good and slower so i can sing along with most of them.
You haven't heard them singing in Japanese. ..Well they realise the whole album/mini album in Japanese. They have so many japanese song😅
If you're interested I'll drop the other intro's below, as well as you expressed an interest in their other shows:
Please do watch them all eventually as they will give you a different perspective of BTS and their history, one isn't enough to get the full picture.

The Rise of Bangtan series of videos (fan made but excellent) of behind the scenes from pre-debut and ongoing, including history/documentaries re K-Pop and their own vlogs etc. They give an excellent insight into their personalities and really show you their genuineness and authenticity as they speak honestly about what their thoughts/experiences are and what is going on) - also has bonus content and deleted scenes videos which are a must as well, so advise you to start these soon if interested. www.youtube.com/@TheRiseOfBTS

Oh, and in 2018 when they seriously thought of disbanding due to the pressure they said how in a month they only got 1 day off or rather, 2 half days = 1 day off! They are real grinders, no wonder they can achieve all that they have. Makes me feel lazy! 🤣
Bts has several reality shows called BON VOYAGE, IN THE SOOP, AND RUN BTS
1:10:36 Yes background instrumental version of Spring Day guys you got it ! Keep going you will got their faces eventually and one day you will realize that you can even know them from their backs haha
One day! =)
You’ll recognize them by their feet, fingers, ears, eyelashes, etc
Hahahaha good one
Haha. They thought I was joking.
lol yes i know them by their eyes lips body frame shadow everything lol
I love watching your reactions discovering how great BTS is.
I love your reaction so much it doesn't look fake and awkward. You guys even pause the video while talking to each other. you’re nice keep going!!😆
=)
I really really appreciate you going through the long video to get to know BTS. Aren't they amazing? That's why Army loves these guys.
Thanks for the reaction. I love them all, but sometimes I tend to lean towards whoever is singing or rapping at the time. I'm 84, seen lots of singers and musicians in my time, but like you, this is the first time I've been so into everything about them. 💜💜
Great reaction. I was so excited to see you do this at last. I watched it on my TV but came here so I could like and comment.
Glad you enjoyed it!
just recently started watching this group, kinda beginning to love them their good in everything they do👏👏👏
Bts play games a lot. Jin plays League of legends, same as V and JK. Jimin and Jhope play fifa. V again used to play PubG.
😂😂😂 I am loving your reactions as “beginners” to BTS. It brings me back to as I was learning everything. I purple you!💜
I was a teen in the 90s so seen alot of groups over the years but never one were every single member seems like they are the perfect fit with eachother, their spot in their group & each with a successful carrier on their own.
I love how RM categorized the percentage of their Success, instead of saying cliche things like "Oh I'll give 100% to our Fans"
He mentioned Everyone who is behind their Success, n thts a Great Leader right there.
From left to right with you guessing their names it was Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, V, Jin, Jimin, RM.
❤❤❤ love your genuine reaction and insights
BTS lived in the same apartment (all seven members) for more than 9 years since their trainee days and started to live separately after their 9th debut anniversary in 2022. They now bought their own apartment in Seoul, South Korea and live their by themselves. It's been 1 year since they started living separately, they are more like family to each other ❤️✨
For the question about the most handsome - it really depends on the individual viewer but I personally find Jin to be the most visually appealing but they are all very handsome and extremely talented young men.
Finally, i wss wondering when you would get to this video 💜
BTS each has to do mandatory military service for 18mos-2yrs.
Will be back as a group in 2025, from each member finish military.
3 members are in military now: Jin, J-Hope and Suga.
The other 4 members will enlist in service end of this year (2023)
So has is why you see "miss you", we're wait for you.
So BTS decided to do solo albums since they couldn't sing as a group because of the military separating them. When each member finish their solo album they will enlist.
Solo albums released 2022
1) J-Hope* Jack ln The Box
2) Jin* ASTRONAUT
will finish album when he return from military
3) RM* INDIGO
Solo Album released 2023
4) Jimin* FACE
5) Suga* D-Day
6) V* LAYOVER
7) Jungkook* GOLDEN will release 11/4/23
BTS did solo album so Army will have something to listen to while they're gone for 2 years.
Jin was the first member to enlist in military he will return June 2024
It has been a long time since I watched a really good reaction video of a bts introduction. 💜💜
💜💜💜
6) Suga now has his own drinking/talk show and has guests for each show.
Borahae!
And RM is a main songwriter in bts. Most of bts song or members written by rm also.

You’ll not be disappointed!

since we all know where ARMY stands i just wanted to let you all know these reactors are are queerphobic misogynistic trump supporters. check out their non-music reactions for proof.
They're a family, tried and true 💜
when you couldn't hear JK it was because the Superstar K audition clip was filmed in a shopping mall
you guys not naming any of them right on the Airplane Pt.2 picture was hilarious XD you were so confident as well lol I'm sorry for laughing but it was so funny
You should see us now! We know all of them with no trouble! =)
Thanks for saying all that.
Teahyung/V was voted most handsome Man in the World twice, latest in 2023
Yes they all lived together, even when they upgraded to a large apartment, until a few years ago.
Also, JK’s Live’s on Weverse are epic! He cooks, does laundry, sings and even sleeps with millions of us watching💜
The dates at the beginning of each section are their date of births. V is voted most handsome man in the world 2023, but all the members are handsome.
The date that appears at the beginning of each member is their date of birth.
They lived for a long time together. Now everyone has their home.. Additionally, since the TV and radio channels did not call them, they began to do live from the beginning, They then started their own variety shows (called Run) and also videos of their vacations together.😊
I love your reaction,thank u so much🤗BORAHAE💜
Our pleasure!
That's their birthday that you're seeing under their names
Eles cresceram tanto e agora estão mais talentosos ainda. BTS é incrível! Ser ARMY é um privilégio.
