Vachanas are always close to my heart for their philosophical thoughts which is still relevant in today's society.
Ullavaru Shivalayava Maduvaru- This basavanna's vachana has great meaning and depth where it says rich build temple for worshipping being a poor, what can I do?
Oh God, my legs are pillars, the body is a temple, the head itself is done. These standing structures can always be destroyed but not my spirit and the idol instilled in my body with devotion because these are pure and timeless.
