Rams vs Chiefs on Monday night was one of the all time greatest regular season games ever played I think. I remember it vividly today. That year was considered the “Year of the Offense” because there were so many great offensive teams and as result led to record scoring stats for the regular season. And yes, Sean McVay was hired to be the Head Coach at age 30 making him the youngest head coach ever hired by an nfl team. He held the title of being NFLs youngest head coach until just a few days ago.

Chiefs Rams was Literally one of the craziest games of all time even though we lost it was a crazy game
One added layer to the Detroit Lions playoff streak is that before our last playoff win in 1991, the most recent playoff win before that was 1957. Only one playoff win in over 65 years. This is why Lions fans are so emotional over this season

Jeff Fisher was a VERY average coach that kept getting hired. He only had a single great season. In 22 years of coaching he only made it to the playoffs 6 times. He only won 5 playoff games in those 22 years. He didn't have a winning season during his last seven years as a coach. I have no idea how a coach who only wins 51% of this games can coach for 22 years.

As a Life Long Lions fan, This has been the most excited I have been since I was a young child. Matt Stafford is the Greatest Lions QB of all time, but Jared has caught the spirit of Detroit. We, Michiganders and Detroiters, are a tough, gritty, and loyal. We love our sports teams that reflect back on us. Prime Examples are the Pistons Bad Boys and "Going to Work" Pistons, Red Wings- Grind Line & Gordy Howe. LETS GO LIONS!!!
Love 9, but Jared won the NFC North and won 2 playoff games as a lion, something Matthew never did.

I'm well aware Matthew didn't have the management that Goff has in Detroit, of course I love Stafford, we all do. But I am beyond thrilled for Jared, he's doing great things in Detroit. Matthew got his ring, now it's Jareds turn!!!!

Video does a good job covering his career statically but doesn't cover just how emotional it was. He was cast aside from one of the great teams in football and sent to essentially Siberia. DET had just fired one of the worst coaches in NFL history that completely depleted the roster due to Vets hating him. Goff was not expected to succeed under a new head coach that the national media was mocking after his opening press interview. In 3 years Goff took this team from praying to not go 0-16 again to the best season we've ever seen
As a life long Lions fan I'm rooting for the Chiefs over the Ravens. It would be a great bookend to both seasons and then you get both Emenim and Swift at the game.

I remember getting the news of the trade and being devastated as a lifelong Lions fan and a huge Stafford believer. I’d say it worked out beautifully for all of us now

A draft could never work in "Soccer" there's too many big leagues that players move between. The draft is an amazing concept and ensures the league remains competitive but only really works because it's almost unquestionable that America has the strongest football/basketball and baseball leagues
