Thank you for uploading this classic episode. This was the first time I have heard it, it was pure genius. Mr. Benny's writers were on a roll after the war. I've listened to shows from the early years with Mary on them, and she was very talented and confident without hardly a miscue. But it seems like around the middle forties, her nerves began to get the best of her. She was blowing lines on live radio like crazy. Sometimes I wonder if the fubs weren't deliberately written in.

Man...that opening cigarette advert.... "There's something about them you like." Fascinating, when one views the advertising techniques used today.
Funny, but I wish they had not reused this for the Boris Karloff episode.
