im so happy that im kinda obsessed with making big Power Plants before making any big production things. I made a Coal Power Plan Producing 8.5k MW and now moving on to Fuel Generators where i calculated a total amount of 75k MW in my new Power Plant but only 60% is build so still a lot of things to do. putting a lot of hours into stuff like this but after finished i dont need to worry for power for a loong time :)
I made a coal plant today, then UA-cam recommends this video to me and suddenly I want to just complete tear down my coal plant and redo it from scratch 😅
Amazing builds you have made TX, looks very clean and neat. I cannot wait for 1.0 to release and go at it all again. You keep me hyped for hypefactory :)
Oh man, you're so good at architecture! I'm actually working on a massive turbofuel power plant at the crater lakes right now. It's producing 5000 TF / min with the help of HOR, Turbo blend fuel, and diluted fuel alternate recipes. And my approach was way simpler and cruder, because I asked myself one question, what if we just built all of it on a *massive slab*
Funny - I actually ran a train through that tunnel you found a build or two back. Totally forgot about it. For the glass part where the pipes come out, something I was thinking about: why not use an angled glass roof piece?
One thing I can't wrap my head around is why use manifold instead of balancing. Except for the obvious increase in space needed. I'm in the middle of making my 2nd 120 coal/min (8 coal gens) because I'm starting to run tight on power.
I think the question is why not use manifolds? If a powerplant is running 100% of the time it shouldn't matter what technique you use, both will run as efficiently as the other as the only downside to a manifold system is the warming up cycle and now with priority power switches we shouldnt need to worry about power blackouts ever really
Awesome content! Really have been enjoying these videos. How are you powering 48 coal generators with 5 water extractors? Wouldn't you need 8 extractors for that? Sorry if I overlooked something just wanted to make sure I'm following how this works haha. Keep up the vids!
Have you happen to have done a tutorial for how to do the sign between the sloped walls. I can get the signs on the wall, and I can get the sloped walls using the barrier trick, but they always want to go in the same place. I can't figure out how to get the signs between the walls.

I'm a new player in this game and power is an issue right now. Just built my first 2 fuel generators and they are running, powering the refineries that are making their fuel. Haven't unlocked trains yet but keep running into issues with the factory producing heavy modular frames. I should mention I'm in the grasslands area and boy is my zone messy at the moment. Running a long range belt from 2 quartz miners and an entire power site where I'm running 4 mk 2 oil pumps, 4 (normal) mk 2 coal miners into 4 fully overclocked coal generators and 4 water extractors. That was a fun thing to build, especially the large obelisk that's bringing the pipes vertically up to the pathway high above it and back to my base. I'm currently running 18 coal generators, all in separate locations with about 3 groups with a max of 4. I built the 2 fuel generators to power a new factory that is gonna be the largest one yet with multiple manufacturers to build the more resource intensive items. I just need to build a central collection point so I can access them all instead of running around trying to find stuff. Next project i guess. A lot of work but I'm having a lot of fun with the game. Thank you for the videos, giving me lots of ideas and inspiration of things to try out and tinker with.
well you can build like 300 coal generators before you even bother about fuel :D but yes people always ignore power and build factories that makes stuff and then they get the dreaded "no power" sound ;-)
@@LiLBitsDK Yeah, fuses keep tripping at the one plant and i cant figure out why. The only time it failed on the first one was issues with coal. And for that one, it was already 1 pure node supplying 5 spaced out generators.
