I love how quickly JJ stops hearsay. Anytime she hears "he said"/"she said", she instantly stops them if the person in question is not present. She's great at what she does.
Not always
She's like an industrial truth refinery. All the BS gets chucked into a giant shredder and everything that doesn't make sense gets ripped apart until all that's left is the crumbs the real story. Then, her Brooklyn AI fills in the blanks.
About hearsay, I really appreciate that she doesn't accept letters as testimony, not even letters from "experts." She only accepts official reports.

Oh mean, these negative review cases are always interesting because it can go either way. Either they're allowed to post a review if it's truthful, or someone can get decimated for lying. I love these cases.
It isn't often JJ has a plaintiff or defendant before her that can actually prove defamation/libel, but it looks like she might this time. If you're dissatisfied with the work someone did, tell people not to use their services. We've seen that before hundreds of times with photographers, DJs, caterers, dressmakers, contractors, etc. However, unless that person outright committed a crime, such as theft (by taking your money and not doing any work), the most you can legally say is you didn't like their work and that you don't recommend their company. Going beyond that could land you in a world of shit.
It's funny when JJ asks a question and as they start to answer she says SHHHHHH!!!
Because, she can tell from their first couple of words, they’re not going to either say yes or no, or they’re going to go off on some tangent. JJ is an expert, and knows as soon as she asks the question, and looks at whoever where it’s going to go.
