You certainly are getting hit with a lot of snow. To bad you could not have a couple buckets filled with snow and place it an area where the snow melts in the bucket and then keep adding snow till the bucket fills with water. Just a thought.
I'm in Florida and lichen indicates old rot or decaying or unhealthy situations with what ever material you're working with 😊 luvya still waiting on that grow and cook video
