Have you tried the Sundorne side opposite. Down the old canal and then into the old sewerage farm (now a nature reserve and picnic area) and along the river to Pymley Manor. Beautiful...or it was when I left 🙂

I have lived in Shrewsbury my whole life, I didn't know about this river until I moved to monkmoor last year. Love a walk around here, especially with the dog. If you carry on around and follow the river towards atcham there are more beaches.

I thought it was The Mount in Shrewsbury at first - very similar. I’ll have to have a look at this place thanks. You should try the mount sometime it’s near Frankwell in Shrewsbury.

Turn left at the police station roundabout as if your coming from Sundorne and drive all the way down past the industrial plots until you reach the furniture scheme and you will see a little gate into a field full of rapeseed 😊👍 hope you enjoy your walk 🌞

Just curious, where is a good place to park the car to walk that route? Not from Shrewsbury myself but not too far away either. Nice to see a local vlogger, your now the 2nd I gave come across.

Thanks for the video, I live near to you and decided to take our bikes that side too. It was very strange to look back to the other side of the river if you know what I mean.
Yes I know how you feel, spent a lifetime walking on one side and then suddenly see a paradise on the other 😊
We carried on to the railway bridge/wakemen etc, You gotta go that way too as you’ll love it, I couldn’t believe the size of the railway tunnel.

Hey, how would I get there please?
Turn left at Monkmoor police station, coming from sundorne and follow the road all the way down past the industrial estate on your left. as you get to the end of the industrial estate, look to your right and you will see a gate 👍. Leads into fields and walkways that takes you here 🙂. Enjoy!
