And I know that it's good that Peter broke things off before the wedding, probably avoiding a divorce and Daphne's unhappiness but this guy decided to go this far with her and then leave her hanging with the destruction of the relationship. I get why Anthony did it- he's a flaming hot mess who shouldn't be allowed to make decisions when he's like that because he has deep seated trauma. What's your excuse Peter? At least Edwina had a support network to fall back on. And she got to choose to ultimately end things.
Oh no this is fully a Peter slander space. Yelling about Peter would 100% be the bar gossip in question. Narratively I am glad we didn’t have to deal with his BS too much but I wouldn’t have minded seeing him suffer a little more.
I really enjoyed this book this is totally my favorite book by Emily ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
That’s high praise! I’m going to need to revisit Beach Read and Book Lovers to get a really accurate assessment of my ranking
2:40 I would be too. Who does that?
🤷♀️ Romance reasons 😂
