Source of Infection / Cabo Wabo / Cabo Wabo pre-chorus bit / Summer Nights / Mine All Mine solo / 5150 (in a different key, it's dropped D on the album) / 5150 interlude from LWAN video / I Want Some Action (5150 demo, unreleased).
Great job!!!!! Love EVH and your feel is the same...astonishing!!! Greets from Italy and go on.....There's one and only EVH and he deserves such tributes!!
LOL ! He could not be anything but impressed ! An invite to 5150 Studio - - Now that would make ya pass out lol - Seriously , Man. Amazing work. Just amazing !
@@stevewjr.3226 Eddie's guitar tech and later Sammy's Ziggy would come down to the Guitar Center I worked at for gear or ask me to bring stuff up. 5150 has so many rooms all connected and at least 10,000 old tapes all numbered & dated. Sometimes Ed would come down to the store, such a humble person, funny as sh!t
@@lonnybrooks9520 that's great ! EVH is one person that I wanted to meet and never got the chance to. Have scene VH many many times, but to personally have met him would be mind blowing.
Phenomenal, Amazing, Outstanding!! Twenty three seconds in, and you rip into one of my favourite tunes from OU812, AFU, with blistering accuracy and style. If that were not enough, then you shred that beautiful guitar to the sun drenched classic Cabo Wabo; how appropriate that you are on a rock strewn beach, having a great time! Later on, you perform the solo to Mine all Mine note for note with mathematical precision. I feel inspired to practice some signature EVH scissor kicks with my air guitar, LOL. You are simply the best, my brother!!! Have a wonderful day!!!!
Amazing stuff! Source of Infection track gets overlooked. Thanks for bringing life again to Van Hagar tracks. Hopefully Eddie and Sammy can work something out one day and work again. No one is getting any younger and rock music is dead at the moment at the pop chart.
Wait a sec, I'm pretty sure the very first part of the this kick ass Mashup is the the riff from Source of Infection. It opens with that, or am I wrong?
Please do a video to show how you go about building your tracks with the Roland BOSS Dr. Rhythm. Listening to all your videos you're playing his hands down the stay but your backing tracks are also excellent.
love the extended 5150 solo that they did live. Also love that u closed it out with "I want some action". that cut should've been on 5150 instead of "Inside".
Eddie played bass guitar for that album. I think the 2 of them were friends and Ed 'gave' him that riff since he figured he'd never use it (until VHIII, of course, lol).
Oh yes, I've listened to it many times. Great album. Anyway, if you look up "Van Halen - I Want Some Action", you should find it easy. Sammy just kinda noodles through the lyrics, but it is a full 4 and a half minute song. The question most VH fans can't answer is, was the song gonna be on 510 or OU812? I'm leaning toward OU812.
Cabo Wabo is a classic of course but Summer Nights must be one of my favorites, and they would never play it live, instead they played Best of Both Worlds... I could never get why
Liquid. I couldnuse your help in a big way. I have a katana 50w and a mxr 5150 overdrive pedal. Could you please send me your evh tone from sammy error settings for the katana and 5150 pedal . I also have a more pitch box to replicate the eventide detune effect. I love your tone best replicated evh tone on the net . I would so appreciate it. I love my katana
Post Dave, I would’ve been cool with the band dropping to a 3-man rock n roll machine à la Rush, with Mikey singing harmonies interspersed with his own lyrics to sing.
Fake as hell, your walking on sacred ground, Eddie deserves respect, nobody could him in the late seventies, eighties and early nineties, he was a game changer.
Why didn't youtube showed me any of this in 5 years I don't know... This channel deserves waaay more views
fucking awesome - love it that you played the 5150 break from the live video in New Haven - fantastic job!

AFU (Naturally Wired) between Source of Infection and Cabo Wabo
Man rock on bro this has become my fav vids to watch. Love the sound, the tone, the mashup
Great to hear that "newer" EVH stuff - very well done! Perhaps Sammy should give u a ring...?
Great job!!!!! Love EVH and your feel is the same...astonishing!!! Greets from Italy and go on.....There's one and only EVH and he deserves such tributes!!
Using the live "5150" solo?.....SWEET!!!! A+++++++++++++++++++!!!!!!!!! Awesome job dude!
Plain and simple : You kick ass, Man !! EVH has had to have heard these... Keep them coming !
Steve Wasser thanks man! I’m fairly certain he has! I’d be pretty scared to find out what he thought lol

So good! My first Van Halen record, listened to it for hours. And then with the added tidbits from 5150!! 😊
Love that you included Stompin' 8H in this! Nice work man! Love the mashups!
tdh_Nashville I love that riff! Wish he sowed how he played it!
Unreal!
Do you suppose you could do a full cover of "Summer Nights"? It sounds badass in this mashup, and a helluva lot like Joe Satriani covering it. :)
Wow...you are the man...your mash-ups are world class. Love the New Halen work in the middle! Excellent!! \m/ \m/
Gitarnya bagus bagus om, modelnya.koleksinya komplit bin lengkap.👍
Wonderful! And OU812 is awesome, esp. mixed with 5150.
Great work again man, a reminder of how many great riffs were on that album!
That's is awesome! the 5150 break is the shit!!! Please play a full version of 5150. :)
Absolutely awesome! Was playing Source and Cabo last night. Lol. Well done!
Fantastic! You nail the feel & tone!
Insanely flawless!!!! Just badass👍👍
That was awesome once again!! Well done Charlie!
The green guitar is beautiful. What's the model.??
Where did you find the backing track to “I want some action”?..bad ass!!

It gets overlooked because the lyrics for the verses are nonsense. I wish he wouldn't have done that.
I've been following you for a couple years on Instagram and I just found this video... You are the bes!! t love it!!
I loved the summer nights part with the guitar as the vocal :)
Excellent playing, excellent video!
Well done brotha 👍 love your gear!!
That is all kinds of bad ass!
Excellent!
Stellar 🤘👍🎸!!
Love it!!! Love the guitars too brother!!!!
Word bro, like that you used the I want some action demo in the mash up. Great stuff man

No way you got that killer tone from that Boss Katana..I just sold mine:
I think part of it is running amp in stereo or recording that way. Big part of this type of Van halen sound. Echos and chorus sound better in stereo
love the extended 5150 solo that they did live. Also love that u closed it out with "I want some action". that cut should've been on 5150 instead of "Inside".
Is that what it was. It's exactly the same as Twist the Knife by Steve Lukather.
Eddie played bass guitar for that album. I think the 2 of them were friends and Ed 'gave' him that riff since he figured he'd never use it (until VHIII, of course, lol).
tylerdurden3891 I knew he played bass on the album, they were/are best friends. Never heard the VH version of it though.
Steve's album is awesome.

Very nice axe. Cool jams🤘🎸🎵🎶
The live without a net solo is better than the studio version anyway
Amazing bro!! 🔥
Dude your tone is amazing, great job!
Crazy 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Cabo Wabo is a classic of course but Summer Nights must be one of my favorites, and they would never play it live, instead they played Best of Both Worlds... I could never get why
This is just wonderful... nice video as well... but...you do need to do the same with Black Sabbath... (from the guy with the big dog in the Pullman)
Amazing Charlie!)
I can smell the sea, in this video - by Liquid Charlie .....
love it bro
nice work Chuck!!!
Ok. I got to watch that again.
EVH has passed on the Torch from the heavens above and I think you LC are the next recipient to carry on his legacy. You are Amazing !
That's very kind of you to say!!! Thank you so much!
supercool !!!!
JUST WOW !
Bomb 🤟🤝
1:39 the best solo for me about VH
one of my favorites
awesome
Nice! 👍🏼
Love it. What song is 4:20??
Even put Dirty Water Dog in there😶 what a legend
Great !
lov it ---- 5150 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Epic bro

Very talented

Love your music, also you get that Eddie’ s best music was during the Sammy era. ❤️🤘🏻
Halenfan77 The band without Sammy’s vox, yes I agree. Music’s phenomenal as a 3-man band like Rush. I don’t need vocals to love.
🤘🏻🙌🏻
tanta roba ragazzo!!!
🤘😎🤘
Do you ever use amp modelling software like guitar rig 5 pro or th3 overloud
Guitar héro Charlie
Dude I'm a Sammy Hagar voice impersonator, I would love to do a little van halen with you!
You should look into getting some more gear so you can really sound like Eddie.... 😂
Btw you have the best looking Axis they ever made, that Balboa Blue (I assume) is flawless
Fake as hell, your walking on sacred ground, Eddie deserves respect, nobody could him in the late seventies, eighties and early nineties, he was a game changer.
You know, these songs are pretty good without Sam Hagar screaming nonsense over the top of them.
