Obscure PVZ Trivia: The History Of Chinese Collaborations...

If you've ever been interested in PVZ, then one aspect you might know about is the Chinese games. Considering how massive PVZ was (and realistically, still is) in China, you can only imagine how crazy things got over there. Well, in todays video, we'll be discussing a little bit of that history in the form of the collaborations!

I think you did a decent job on this video but Im confused why you glossed over the Jam Hsiao collaboration. You didnt mention the single or music video he released despite using it as background footage, or other aspects of the event, like the Rain God Zombie plush or the "Banquet of the Rain God". I think the NFL collab and the "Sun Goin' Up" concert shouldve been mentioned but I'm assuming you didnt know about those. There's also more info and images about the Pizza Hut promotion but you'd need to know where to look. Googling stuff in english or looking on the pvz wiki isnt going to do you any favors. Otherwise the video is good

Fun fact about Rotten Red: he technically wasn't removed, rather was reskinned into a plant known as Dual Pistol Pinecone (which as an extra fun fact, stole assets from Red Stinger)

In case rotten red's case wasn't clear enough, Talkweb team decided to implement this plant without any idea of it's origins, and when PopCap Shanghai realized that, the team was told to remove the plant before any trouble, as there may or may not had been permissions to implement this plant. The wiki is a bit vague on it so

They do know about the origins with Miles and Make a wish, as you can tell from Rotten Red’s trailer (which was also removed almost immediately). They just didn’t know that they are not allowed to add Rotten Red.

No, but iirc it was the international pvz2 animation video with miles and rotten red but changed into chinese. Nothing much.

I’d love a pvz2 mod that just straight up gives you every single plant in the game for free from the start, so I can do the survival endless modes with everything, that’s my favorite part of Pvz2

There are thousands of mods that give you all plants for free levels that give you premium plants as rewards the "1 coin shop infinite money, gems, min-" mods and tutorials on how to edit your pp.data file on youtube
