@@blundeysnipe7625 they definitely did upgrade the eyes on this model and seems to me like they made it more durable but still has a good amount of give in it to handle those fish. I'm taking them out tomorrow I'll give you an update on how they perform. They feel much better to me than the original Ghost rods.

So sorry for just now getting back to yall. The rod is amazing. Upgraded eyes for sure. I have the 7'3 heavy and the 7'0 medium crankin stick. Haven't used the crankin stick enough to say how it handles fish but the 7'3 heavy is a beast. I was throwing a 3/4oz jig yesterday afternoon and on 20lb fluorocarbon and I flat out got to test the power of this rod on some big spawning smallmouth. I probably "overkill" the hook set on a jig but I make sure I drive that hook in so they don't come off as easy. I never lost a fish yesterday and I was yanking those big smallmouth out of the water on the hook set and this rod handled them perfectly. I boat flipped every one of them with ease. No broken rod no eye guides popping off great sensitivity for a heavy power rod and it's very well balanced. It's pretty light but flat out has back bone to handle those fish. Pick you one up you won't regret it. I bought mine at harps in Mountain Home Arkansas
