These figures are beautifully rendered. Just for some background, the Egyptian god we know as Horus (his Greek name) refers to several gods: Heru, son of Aset (Isis) and Ausar (Osiris) - a sky god who also was a god of kingship. Heru'wer, or Horus the Elder, son of Geb and Nut (Nuit) was also associated with kingship, but predates Heru (who is also known as Har-se-Aset (or Harsesis)). Harakhte, or Re-Harakhte, the so-called "Horus of the Two Horizons" is associated with light, flight, and the journey of Ra (Re) across the sky. Heru-pa-khered (Harpocrates) or "Horus the Child" refers to the young Har-se-Aset, who was known as a god of silence by certain mystery schools. There are other aspects of Horus, and it is fascinating to contemplate them while viewing this figure. Why, yes, I am an amateur Egyptologist.
I got mine last week. Never had a phicen body before, but OMG this thing is amazing. What a great figure they produced. there were a bunch of frayed ends on my cloth area, but that was my only negative. Oh and the cape...very well done.
Here’s hoping they do a Sobek, one of my favourite Egyptian gods, the Crocodile god. Would have to pick that up Immediately to complete the collection.
The interesting thing about Cleopatra is that she's a ruler from the Late Period of ancient Egypt of the Macedonian Greek "Ptolemaic dynasty". So technically Cleopatra was ethnically Greek, but she did embrace Egypt's culture, language and so was nationally Egyptian.😁
Just got mine today.. Totally worth for 179 USD.. The head sculpture and the seamless body is impressive, especially the cape tho.. Totally worth for a single penny

Great review Danoby! I got mine preordered at BBTS, along with the Month figure! I also heard rumors that their next figures are gonna be Bastet, which is a female goddess with a lioness head, and the other figure is gonna be King Osiris. I'm all in on this line, these figures just look to amazing!
Looks great, was really torn regarding which one to get as like them both but in the end ordered the silver myself as I figured he white clothing would go better alongside Anubis as he also has white clothing.
This line looks amazing.. How well does the ankles hold the weight though? I'm looking at collecting this line, but I've heard the body weight makes it incredibly hard to pose without a stand or support.
i only have macho horus, though im having second thoughts of getting anubis, cause im kinda scared of anubis tbh😅😅 the angry jackal face just gives me goosebumps
In your display, it looks like you have wiped off the powder that Phicen/TBLeague puts on the bodies to preserve the silicon. Do you wipe that stuff off? Do you use something else to preserve the figure, or nothing at all?
Use compress air, it would really depend on the look you are wanting. Powder keeps the silicon from getting sticky. Careful because some powders can damage the painted skin.

There He is!! I took three parted out Anubis figures and kitbashed a couple custom Black Panther figures. One is a Wakanda King figure.
