No need to try to recalibrate their perspective with "buts" and "If onlys". PS. Still on the matter of sound design, I believe we all saw him make a pad and a pseudo-guitar out of his vocals. That qualifies as rudimentary sound design at least.

Although it obviously wasn’t 100% professional etc it was still a great video and the more important part, the quality of the beat was great. When you recorded the last vocal (higher octave) I definitely thought you were going to pitch it to match but it opened my eyes when you didn’t mess with the pitch yet it still came out good after the distortion etc. Great vid.
