It's an excellent movie with a strong cast. The father and sons are a metafore for America's last stand in a house divided.. lady liberty is hanging in the balance. Like the ending, the jury's out.

@@johnkean6852 Yes. I also thought it was an accident in the beginning. I love hunting. Therefore I've been told to be careful when hunting -- to avoid shooting others and to avoid getting shot. I think that's why I was concerned with that part in the movie.

I read the comments before watching. It didn't disappoint, I'm really glad I watched. Great acting and action to the end. And no way they made it is my opinion.
Independent film making at its best - simple and so exciting at the same time. Story like many before but one of the most exciting ones. Bravo to the crew!
In Germany they don't have accidental shootings of people because they always shoot from a high hide into a clearing where deer are attracted by salt licks. Thus they always fire downwards. If they miss the deer the bullet hits the ground.
In Germany they have an average population density of 232 people per square kilometer. In the United States it is 37. You are comparing apples to potato mashers.
There are many people in the U.S who should not be hunting at all because those people just shoot before even knowing what they are shooting at. They do not wait to get a clear shot. If it looks brown it must be a deer if it is black it must be a bear. So people get killed during hunting season all the time. And you also have hunters in the U.S that signs posted saying no hunting or trespassing just ignore the signs and some will rip them down and others will cut barbed wire fences to walk threw to hunt on private property. I live in Montana and it happens all the time. And Montana has just over a million people in the state and is one of the least populated in the U.S.
Germany has a different way to think
Yes, people's needs to shoot the gun after clearly seeing the target/ animal. you can shoot blindly in a war zone, when you are suppressing the enemy or when cover your friend. Most gun owners are not well train, they just buy the gun, mostly USA.😂😂😂.

He was wrong, yes, but if his father wasn't a Policeman, he would have got off the charge at 17. Nate would been tried as an adult for sure. The matter obviously wasn't that simple, there was a DEEP DARK CANYON of preceding events coming to light during the rest film.

Movies always screw something up. I've seen a four engine airplane in a movie with a throttle set up for a 3 engine plane, you have to wonder how they manage to keep their job while being clueless

Seriously awesome work to whoever the makers of this movie are, that is real talent, the actors too were perfect and the fast paced exciting twisty plot had me glued right from the start, wicked the Best movie I've watched in ages :) 10/10 in my opinion. Being "chased" by Inken, Blinken and Nod (I like to say Wad, lol) wasn't funny enough, the accidental deaths of certain characters made things funnier. Where'd all the guns and a vehicle come from for the ending...which you gotta see to believe.... Movie brought up memories of O' Brother, Where Art Thou, with Clooney and ? THAT was a good movie. This one..., meh.

Not really a comedy, but it kept reminding me of the Dukes of Hazard: a lot of country hicks without too much smarts. Very well-done film, really draws you in. The ending, I suppose, was predictable, considering the numerous, foolish choices of the elder brother, who I was angry at, throughout the movie. Great soundtrack and cinematography, well-worth watching, even for these.
Good ;ending could be better but overall very very good defo watch

i just stated watching this movie, my first thots are...1. i don't know where this is but in most if not all of the U.S.A. buck hunting is done in the early winter, not summer. 2. in most if not all of the U.S.A people hunting during the various gun seasons are required to wear some bright orange clothing, where i live it's 250 square inches, to keep from getting shot by mistake. the only time you can go in full camo is during archery and late flintlock season. hope i didn't spoil anyone's enjoyment of this flick, i'm just saying.
It reminded me a bit of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid at the end.
Really a stupid ending poor acting I don't know how you guys can like a movie and the plot is all fucked up
