Dre Dog is not from Oakland.. he's from Fillmore District, San Francisco.. he first came out in 1992 on Vinyl
He has been going on tour with a whole damn orchestra these past few years I recommend getting tickets early
You guys said this came out nine years ago, it was only uploaded nine years ago. This is 25 years old, this album came out in 99.
This is a compilation. It says from 1992 to 2005. This song was on Horns and Halos. That came out in 2005. So this song is 19 years old

I was 12 y/o when I first heard Andre Nickatina on his son “Dice of Life.” I heard it from a friends older brother and it turned me onto Bay Area music. Still one of my favorite tracks to this day.
Nearly 35 years old here from Wisconsin. I found nickatina in an old skate video and was obsessed. Been my secret favorite rapper since 5th grade

Some context for Nickatina - he was huge in the Bay Area when he first came onto the scene in the early 90’s under the rap name Dre Dog. He continued to make music but didn’t really start sharing fully online until about 10 years ago, that’s why a lot of his most popular songs are uploaded by random accounts.

Actually before Run-DMC where he became Rev Run. He was actually in fact named DJ Run. He had DJ'ed for Kurtis Blow. DMC was a DJ too. But Run convinced him to start rhyming. Then of course when they formed Run-DMC, they became full time MC's and of course Jam Master became their DJ. It's a DJ family 😆
