True however he said network unlock nothing about OEM and majority of people have no need for OEM unlock...why did you buy a Google pixel if your going to change the software makes no sense. You don't need OEM because if you had the skill set to use it you wouldn't be looking up videos for something so easy to do for a IT pro.

Many Pixel devices are easily unlocked where others are not easy even for the "professionals". Google and service providers should take down all obstacles once the device is payed off. If you void the warranty that's on you.
theres a reason you set up in offline mode, its so the device setup app doesnt connect to the internet and mess things up before setting up the firewall. disabling that made it so it cant talk to the internet
It looks like all your communications will be going through this VPN. That would include all your login information, any credit cards that you use, all your data, would you really want to do that? Do you really trust something that you randomly found on UA-cam with your financial future, your identity and who knows what else?
