- Tour of Old Town Kissimmee in October 2021, a tourist attraction on Orlando's Highway 192, featuring over 70 unique, weird and wacky gift shops, restaurants, bars, rides and games, and connected to Fun Spot amusement park! We take a Sunday funday to stroll the promenade, checking out tons of the really fun and unique shops, including crystals, gems, leather, woodworking, also see old fortune telling machines, retro merchandise and decor, and Post Mortem Boutique, a spooky shop connected to Mortem Manor, a year round two story haunted house in Orlando, FL! It's all so much fun and of course I show you the crazy rides like the Slingshot and the Vometron too as we check out some Fun Spot America rides too! OMG! I did that sling shot ride one year at the Arizona State Fair. I was shamed into riding and I immediately regretted giving in to peer pressure. 😂😂 DEFINITELY a one and done!

I agree about the parking. That's the biggest reason why I don't go to Old Town regularly. But it's a fun little place to hang out

LOVE these spots - the kitchier the better - they want your buck and they're not afraid to show it - and I ain't afraid to give it - a true sense of place
We have spent many a spring break at Old Town. The General Store was always a favorite. I miss the mini Coke bottles they used to sell. My wife and I still have a quartz chess set we bought at Black Market Minerals.

I love Old Town. First went to Old Town during our first trip to Orlando/WDW over a decade ago when our travel agent booked us into the Comfort Suites hotel next door.

As kitschy and touristy as it is, I LOVE Old Town and Fun Spot. I have had so many fun evenings and nights there. Wound & Around is one of my favs. You described the vibe perfectly, completely Florida - juxtapositions, contradictions and all! Love this vlog! ❤️
I love the old fashioned ness of the town. I like that you decided to show something new to those who enjoy these kind of places. I always enjoy going into the stone stores. Amethyst is good for healing.

Used to work at the Checkers there in Front of Old Town, so walked around there all the time. It has changed so much. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Haven't been there since my son was 5 and he is now 13.

We have been to Old Town twice this year. Loved the feeling of just being there. A&W was great place to eat. Best part was meeting you and Nate there.

When we were in Florida for the 50th, we stayed at a resort right next to Old Town but we never went in. We will definitely have to go there next time! Looks like a cool little place to walk around. Every night we would drive back to go to our resort we'd see that Vomitron going. I kept saying why do people like to spin haha (I have horrible motion sickness). It's fun to watch though! Thanks for the awesome video Jackie❤️
Great video! We love going there. I had a wonderful spa experience at Vivians Day Spa last week! I go there every visit. Great service and great value...highly recommend this spa.
I been going there for the past decade. Across Old Town and 192 is the the food trucks world with indoor flea market. Its another place to consider going. On the weekends they even have street shows.
Of course we love the gift shops the restaurant crawls everything you keep it very unique of course we all love the parks but whatever you do keeps us enthused regardless😎

We used to visit Old Town when we would come down back in 90's. (My parents always stayed in that area of Kissimmee.) Nifty to see it still exists and looks like a fun spot to hang out.
Holy smokes. When you were in Black Market Minerals, that just completely uncovered the memory of going into that store at the mall near me as a kid! I used to LOVE that store. Sadly it closed and became more of a high end outlet mall, but that was a highlight of my childhood!

I passed by there yesterday, I miss the Orlando, Kissimmee, celebration area. I was visiting for four days. The amusement parks up and down Orlando looked like a lot of fun

We went to Old Town in April and we were lucky to find a parking spot. So we shopped around and ate at Nathans. We went to the British store and saw 3 cockroaches crawling around and left quick. Of course we didn't buy anything there. It was fun watching people ride those crazy rides! It was a fun busy place to visit 👍🏻⭐️🌴

Hi Jackie. Wow. There is a lot to do around the Orlando area. Possibly do a few Day Trips like Kennedy Space Center. Then miss out on doing all parks (WDW, Universal Studios, and Seaworld), but that could be another trip. Thank you for sharing your Homestate with us Canadians who someday will make to Florida.

In the mid 90s i would go to old town for the Saturday night cruise with my parents I remember the cokes for a nickel and wolfman jack in the radio station. We even bought a 67 ford Fairlane during one of the car shows.

Last time I was there I took the bus and rode past Old Town but never actually went there. I like seeing the car shows videos they have there.
I never carry cash either. About every year and a half I wear out my debit card and have to get a new one. Nothing smells better than a store full of fresh leather.

Our trip in late May/June we stayed at Airbnb right behind Old Town. We had a blast going there at night. It is ok outside the Disney bubble

I've been to Old Town before but its been a long time. I can for sure smell that leather shop, but I find myself positively attracted to the magnet shop.

One of the reasons I started watching the Florida travel vlogs was to really get a look at some of things you can do in the Orlando area that aren't Universal or the Dis. Getting to see videos like this always make me smile. Old Town has a real Gatlinburg feel about it, and with cooler weather, I'm sure there will be a lot more fun to do in the future.
Also, yes, give us the kitchy, give us the tacky, give us the tourist! I'm a native Atlantan, and there is nothing I love more than doing the tourist stuff here in Atlanta!
So give us more of that local vibe! And Stay Enthused!

Yes!!! Love Old Town! We’ve been at all those shops there & bought one of those puzzle boxes at the first stop! Haven’t had a chance to do the Haunted Manor yet.. but it’s on the list!! 🤟😎 & Agreed, everyone is SO friendly there too!
We've stayed at a hotel very close to Old Town a few times and can't wait to get back in a few weeks, the whole place is cool, the classic cars are awesome. I'm going to brave the manor this year.

There's a tourist-y kitschy area in my region as well and, even though I'm a local, it's fun to go out there and see the fun things those shops and business come up with. Old Town looks like such a similar, fun atmosphere! Hope I can stop by some time in the future.
