My mom has passed away suddenly and somehow I'm disconnected from the pain of her passing. I am able to watch and listen and comfort my siblings as they mourn without connecting to the pain, like an observer. I thought I was only delaying my process of mourning because I don't see death the same as others, never had. Thank you for this. It explains all. Namaste 🙏
I've been through the same 14 months ago, with my father's passing. Thought the same, I'm delaying the suffering, I was afraid it would hit me later. But no, like you I dont see death as an end. I miss him, but I know he is OK and near us. And we will be together one day. Take care ❣️

I really resonated with the Emotional Detachment, and the No Desire for Small Talk. I am a highschool Junior 16 years old and have grown up through a lot of childhood trauma that still affected me to this day. I find it sad that spirituality has become esoteric to an extent and wish more people are able to learn about and embrace it. Getting back to my point, I've come to realized that being in a higher level of consciousness has allowed me to not always feel the need to react to my surroundings, i.e. angry and explosive people around me, or mournful. Also found a sense of emptiness between me and my childhood friends. I see that some of my friends are very distraught and insecure about their own self, causing them to inflict their negativity onto others, and even me sometimes. I find that being alone and growing is much better than surrounding yourself with many meaningless relationships.
I'm currently experiencing all of these signs you mentioned and the weirdest one is when I look into the mirror. I no longer recognize the person staring back at me. I thought I was going crazy but no it all makes perfect sense. One thing not mentioned is the fact that for the past few weeks i've been woken up out of my sleep every morning between 2-5AM. It's as if something shakes me and wakes me up out of my sleep. When it happens I meditate and ask the universe what message is it sending me or what task does it want me to take on. I've also been practicing going into a Alpha state of mind multiple times a day.
