Super movie, I had seen this movie when I was nine years old, now I am 66 years old. Still It's in my mind. Though I didn't know Hindi, but I very much impressed.
I still remember watching this in childhood when we used tp watch each and every movie coming on DD channel.The plot twist of last 1hr of the movie was remarkabke and never ever seen such a plot twist on any movie.

The costume designer in this movie deserves a round of applause. The actress looks like a doll. And when you realise it's not a real house but a beautifully carved set. The craftsmen also did great work. The story and the screenplay is average but the good direction makes the movie great.
Even after about 40 yrs this movie has the everlasting impact on viewers mind. Top songs and story concept besides very good performance of leading actors.

Movie is really beautiful. Sunil Dutt's performance, photography, songs(Mahendra Kapur), gripping story line and dialogues saved the movie. Heroine, Vimmi and her performance is the only negative aspect in the movie.
Ess movie ka remake 90 me Imtihan naam ki movie se banaya gaya jisme Sunny Deol, Raveena Tandon and Saif Ali Khan ne kam kiya tha. Raj Kumar and Sunil Dutt Is my all time favorite hero.

Wonderfully Crafted Movie. A "Thrilling Storyline" keeps U glued to the Screen. Lovely Numbers & Music, all throughout. However , the Heroine is Below Par .... . Possibly No Popular Heroine in those old times ( the Mid - Sixties ) , would have liked to play "being Kiled" in the Movie. Raaj Kumar is Excellent !!! . I would still surf the U Tube for this Movie, in Yr. 2024 , for Raaj Kumar..... .
