Ginuwine "Pony" -R&B Arrangement Melody+Solo- Guitar Lesson 🎸

In this guitar lesson I'm going to show you how to play a guitar arrangement of "Pony" by Ginuwine. We're going to add more R&B to this classic R&B song. We will be substituting minor 7th chords for the main riff that loops through out the entire song. For the vocal melody, we will slip and slide around a bunch of double stops from the C# minor pentatonic scale to re-create the verse and chorus. I will also show you a fun little minor blues guitar solo you can play at the end to give it that Red Light Special / U Got It Bad type of vibe. I recently watched the movie Magic Mike XXL and it was actually quite entertaining. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was not the chick flick type of thing I thought it was going to be.This song is kind of the theme of that movie and I thought it would be fun to arrange it for the guitar. @@borderlineguitarguy I just think that what you’ve done with the song is good it warrants a recording. It’s way cooler than the original. Your pocket is deep and those slides are funky. The solo is great too. I’d listen to it, I know that.
