@cokeyshores Sometimes, they do... the meter was more consistent back then... nowadays, rappers go off beat often, but the production is so intricate these days that many rappers shift their flows and cadences often to adapt to the different beat changes and textures in the music. But you still have a whole lot of rappers who can't flow at all or they use a whole lot of punch-ins to fix their sloppy flows... DaBaby is good for that, but I like his style.. he just can't do punch-ins live.
