Thanks so much for having me in the video! It's always a blast to hang out with you. Keep spreading the joy of video games to everyone you can
Do you have power stone 1 and 2?
@@alex64gamingdo you have battletoads?
Great collection. Yeah I remember when Gamestop had Slay The Spire for $7 a few years ago. Couldn't pass it up. Also respect to you for talking about LRG and not trashing them. All I ever hear are people complaining about the shipping wait times. Honestly I have such a massive backlog that I could care less how long I gotta wait cause I'm constantly collecting so when they arrive its always a nice surprise.
@videogames4life475 I'm exactly the same. My backlog is so huge and since I play everything randomly... it doesn't even really matter when they get here.
Thank YOU as well my friend!
I am so glad there are some serious collectors out there, games need to be preserved and I can enjoy it anytime through youtube.
Heck yeah!
I'm pretty serious about collecting. But, I love playing even more
Man this is such a great Game room. Very organized and planned out. So glad to see this in person, hang out, and play games when adulting is not in the way.
Good times!
It was great to hang out and have you there!
the knowledge that you have for each item that you show is amazing. Great collection. Thanks for sharing your game room.
Awesome collection! Collecting and displaying big box PC games is a damn commitment.
Hell yeah!
one of the absolute best collections I've seen
His collection is my favorite by far. I think it is the combination of the way it is displayed and my taste in collecting being very similar but hands down I think one of the absolute best collections I've seen
Thanks so much! That means to world to me
It blew my mind!
Love this. It's like the pocket version of Jamie's full tour AND he didn't have to spend the entire time in a tuxedo!
Love the story of Legendary Wings and the story of the ex.....what a C word.....cunning devil....what were you thinking.
Can't get enough of this space!
I hope one day you get to see it in person!
Thanks so much for all of your support, guys!
Killer collection! I didn’t know RNG had soooo much 🙌🙌
Insane collection!
I have a ton... but not enough 😂
Super cool game room tour! Amazingly done video as always and featuring such an awesome dude! Really fun watch!
Thanks, man! I appreciate you watching this
Thanks my dude!
It’s awesome seeing how everyone displays everything working with the space they have and how unique every room is!
Agreed!
Wonderful game room. The Nintendo GameCube x girlfriend story is heartbreaking for real. It sucks to get stuff taken. That Sony PlayStation 4 collection was great. I also find myself loving so many PlayStation 4 games. Castlevania Symphony of the Night on the PlayStation 1 is amazing I love it. Cool video. ^_^
PS4 has such a great library!
@@RetroWolf88 I think exclusive wise the PlayStation 4 out does the PlayStation 5. The PlayStation 4 just had a special charm to it. ^_^
The PS4 is my favorite console to collect for!
Such a nice room! I appreciate that it is so organised, clean, and bright - as opposed to many other rooms I see on youtube.
That Ikaruga arcade cabinet looks amazing!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it
Bad ass! 🔥
Thanks so much!
Insane collection dude. Very organized and loved the commentary. Awesome video Matt!
Thanks my friend!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the room and the commentary!
You have very interesting collections, Overall simply amazing!
Always like your tour videos, you let the collector be the center and do their thing rather than yourself -- like some channels do.
He definitely let me be front and center! Which is why this video had to be cut down from its original 3 hour run time😅
Thank you! That is my goal with these, I want the focus to be on the collector!
Lol nah man it was only like 40 mins of footage roughly
Amazing collection and great tour. Good to see some big box PC games also :D
I love big box PC stuff!
Great video.
I just started my collection i just got a retro momo force feedback steering wheel, with these retro setups we can live our childhoods again, its amazing
Awesome!
Amazing collection! Great, camera work, like the the transitions! Well done! 😎💪🔥🎮
Thanks I appreciate that!
Retrowolf knows how to film a video for sure!
Outstanding room tour! RNG gamer has an amazing collection! 🤙🏼
Thanks, brother!
He really does!
Love Guardian Legend. Used to rent it from Blockbuster all the time
It's such an incredible game!
Sweet setup man. Big box pc covers besides how much room it takes up. Always looked like the best covers imo. You actually have the perfect voice for narration aswell.
I'm glad you like my voice! I'm self-conscious of it 😄
He really does!
Enjoyed this one. Epic game room, and you let the owner talk and do his thing without babbling.
Thanks really appreciate that!
Dang! Jamie has an INSANELY awesome collection! Very impressive and well-laid out! Awesome game room tour!
Thanks man!
I really appreciate that! I think about rearranging things all the time 😂
It's funny the different paths collectors take. We have close to the same stuff, except OG Xbox is my largest set. The library is so good, highly recommend looking into it more. Also, don't sleep on Wii, no one talks about it, but you have lots of opportunity there to beef that up before it gets the spotlight from the community
I'm on the hunt for both!
Love the OG Xbox and the Wii!!
Maybe he misspoke, but I would consider Run Saber more like Strider than Contra. Great collection. A collection built for quality and what you want to play, over a collection for quantity and dollar value, is always more valuable and impressive.
You're not wrong. It is a lot like Strider, but it gave me a strong Contra vibe. It's just a sidescrolling action game 😁
Great video
Thanks!
I'm thrilled you enjoyed the video!
We love you RetroWolf 🐺
I appreciate it!
150,000 on video games??, god damn, is alot of money 😮😮😮😮😮
He didn't SPEND that much lol, that is just the value, but yeah it's alot!
Great vid! I sold most of my old collection years ago (kept the one's from my childhood and my GameCube and Wii games), but recently started to stock up on 360 games just to have physical media and there's so many great games on there I never played. Even at a Disc Replay they're pretty darn cheap so that's been a goldmine for me while everyone else looks for the more expensive stuff. I'm actually playing Diablo 3 for the first time and having a blast as it's my first Diablo experience. The collecting market started to get so insane about 5 years ago that I just decided to cash out. I also had to move numerous times in a few years which made the decision easier.
The Xbox 360 library is so damn good!
Moving is one of the things that will definitely turn you off to collecting!
I bet Steve knows the name of that Sega Saturn game! 😂
I bet he does!
I appreciate someone who has a decent 3DO set. I have a fairly decent amount of those, as it was such a revolutionary console in 1993 or so, but no one talks about it!
I love collecting for the 3DO!
I have fond memories of the 3DO
@RetroWolf88 Me too. My Uncle had one in '94 when I had my SNES. I was 11 at the time; we played Way of the Warrior and Road Rash constantly. The thing that hurt it was the price. I'm glad I got a $120 used console with a box and like 100 games for it.
One problem about collecting older systems if you want to play them for a long time you need to tear it apart to put new thermal paste on it and to clean out the dust to me that sucks because you're taking the chance of it never working again..That's my worry about my collection....32 consoles and over 2100 games with 300 of them still factory sealed.....Been gaming since 1979 .......
Yeah. That's true for the 7th generation and beyond for sure.
I have all my original games from Atari going forward and ALL of them still work without issue. I wasn’t a Neanderthal of a child and I took care of my stuff. In fact I once punched a kid in kindergarten because I didn’t “like” how rough he played with my action figures I had brought to school 😅
fear the old blood!
Fear it every day!
Crazy collection and room!
It really was!
Thanks! I really appreciate that
Sick setup! Also, Futari as a favorite shmup and SotN as favorite game? A fellow man of taste.
My taste in games is impeccable 😆
Ого :) У вас очень классная коллекция, обожаю смотреть такие видео. Желаю вам хороших покупок и чтобы все это сохранилось на много - много лет :)
--
Wow :) You have a very cool collection, I love watching such videos. I wish you good shopping and that all this is preserved for many, many years :)
Thanks so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it
Woah glory of heracles. Such a cool box. I was pretty happy to get it for my collection. Definitely got to play it.
It's an interesting game for surea
I want that game
@@RetroWolf88 I got lucky and saw it at my local retro games shop. I wanted it since I saw it mentioned in a Jontron video. Some of those more obscure DS and GBA anime-esque RPGS are way underrated. You can find a bunch of videos around youtube of games for both systems that are really obscure but only ever have praise. Just when you think you've heard of all the good GBA and DS games, another JRPG sneaks in.
I love seeing games that are stored vertically as opposed to horizontal stacks. I have the same pet peeve as someone like Afrogamerdude who hates horizontal stacks like I do. LOL. Vertical storage is better for looks and preservation. It's also easier to pull a game off the shelf.
Vertical storage drives me INSANE haha
Never store vertically!!!
Why?@@RNGGamerYT
I thought you were being serious for a moment. You edited your comment to say vertical storage drives you insane. So I went back and watched your room tour from 2022 and all of your games are standing vertically. @olf88
@Jarod_Schultz ok I think we are talkingnabout 2 different things. When I say vertical storage I am saying when games are stacked on top of each other vertically. That is what drives me insane
I bought a 3DO last week and couldn’t find any good games at my local game stores so I ordered my 1st 2 games Need for Speed came in the mail today the other I ordered was Return Fire.
Get one called Braindead 13
@@RetroWolf88 ok I’ll check it out.
Those are some bangers!
Great tour. I love the clean, modern room and compact collection.
About time spmeone having some PC games.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks! Not sure if I'd say it's compact 😂
Real Sound is an audio drama with ocassional choices, not an rpg 😁 one of the great games left by the late Kenji Eno
That's it! Sorry, I couldn't quite remember. I picked it up almost 15 years ago
@@RNGGamerYT No problem! Sorry for being nitpicky 😅 have a great day!
Real Sound: Kaze no Regret is the saturn game for the visually impaired
Thanks!
Thanks for reminding me!
Such a massive and amazing collection, my dream..but I always think what if you have a house fire lol. I worry about that now with my stuff and its nowhere near like ur collection.
Gotta get insurance to cover the collection
One hell of a collection, man! My house didn't even cost 150k 😅
Lol thankfully he didn't PAY that much, that is just what it is worth roughly
Amazing collection! What shelves did you use for your game room?
Amazing bro!
Thanks!
Thanks so much!
I love the way you do the jammin music
Devin is such a great editor!
Devon* is a fantastic editor!
Very cool, today's children will never know what that golden age of consoles was, born in 1989 and I got my first video game in 1995, a mega drive 2, oddly enough I still have it today, of course it no longer works, but I keep it with care, because it was part of the best years of my life, good times that will never come back.
Awesome 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘
🤘
I'm thrilled you enjoyed the tour!
@@RNGGamerYTIt was a great video and awesome collection honestly 🔥🤝
@@CarbajalQZ Thanks!
Great room.
Thanks so much!
RNG Gamer is a good dude cant wait to meet him
Can't wait to meet you!
He is the man!
amazing
Retro Wolf and another collection
Somebody has to film all of these rooms!
Love this! would love to know where you got those posters that are framed on the wall.
I'll see if he can answer!
Fyi Amazon has these clear nail polish organizer that has 5 rows and it’s perfect to display GB GBC lynx & Sega G.G games
I'll look into those. It's what I use to store the Vectrex set!
Amazing collection. Did I miss the part of him going over his TV setup? I'd imagine he's got a couple nice Sony Trinitron CRT's to keep those retro console games looking as intended. Cheers.
There was 1 CRT if I remember correctly
There are 2 CRTs in the room. Both trinitrons!
@@RNGGamerYT Awesome! Enjoyed checking out the collection. Cheers.
@@jesseanderson3835 thanks!
Very nice! I LOVE Slay The Spire
It's a fantastic game! Thanks for watching, brother!
So freaking fun!
Here's a fun drinking game to get you in a coma: have a shot every time he says "heavy-hitter."
We don't want alcohol poisoning lol. But to be fair he has a TON of heavy hitters
They ARE heavy hitters! 😂
Wow man Im just amused with your collection man im just getting started with my collection any tips on how to start a collection?
Don't buy what's popular right now! Zig when everyone else Zags
Couldn't be doing with all that clutter. Thank god for emulators and roms. 😎
I don't know that I would call it clutter. Clutter implies it has no value 😂
What bookshelves are you using? They dont seem to be billy's.
I love the setup for the work pc. Personally, I'm more a 3 across person, maybe a 4th monitor to turn on when you want to show stuff off (rn it's my tv overahead, but eventually that'll move to the left side of the room, so I'll probably run an HDMI connection through the wall. It'll be real cool cause you can get HDMI plates for the wall, allowing you to have an HDMI plug in the wall going from one place to another. And that'll allow me to also play PC games on the tv, running it through the Astro A50 x station. Eventually, I would like to build a console style PC for gaming on the TV, but having it setup so I have a big tv for sharing editing work and the like through the tv would be very helpful, so it's still worth it to have the hdmi port in the wall (especially cause it crosses a door, and just running it under the carpet isn't proper)
But all this aside, I dig the old monitor for older stuff. Currently got an old CRT tv with VHS setup in my dorm as a third monitor I use to watch tv. It's cool cause I got my desk on the right side of the room, with the bed to the immediate left, and at the foot of the bed is the tv hooked into HDMI via an HDMI to rca converter. Honestly, I might just keep this setup when I go home to watch CN Classic twitch stream, rather than on my big tv. I mean, on one hand, the big tv is nice, but it's also up high, and laying down on my side to see the tv would be nice.
I'm never fully satisfied with the desk setup. I'm constantly working on it.
Do you play emulated games on the crt? That's pretty cool. My plan, when i get the space, is to have a custok built corner desk. I have a server rig (that eventually i want to use for editing, but I'm waiting until i get an extra ssd and drop my current gaming 2080 into it since a m4000 is just too slow at rendering by comparison) and my main pc, so i will have the triple monitor setup in the current spot in a 6ftx2.5 ft desk. Then, off that will be an 8ft by 2.5ft desk that will have the editing station with its own triple setup. Gives me plenty of desk space with all the monitors. I might also build a small side stand off to the left to put my 9inch crt. It's good for testing editing in 4:3, as well as some emulating, or just a small screen to watch old TV on. @RNGGamerYT
Who was the repair tech for that model cdi, he taking orders :)
COOL ROOM
Thanks! I really appreciate that
I seen you on his tv back there 👀 😊
I thought it would be fun to promote retrowolf a little. 😂
Haha RetroWolf-ception
I do want to one day get a vectrex. I think my plan is to have a bar and have the vectrex on that. I saw that somewhere ( I think it might've been Metal Jesus) and it just feels where one belongs.
That would be cool
Mine is right inside the door!
What are the console cabinets called? With the sliding glass doors.
Not sure but maybe Jaime will see this and answer
Wow 😮!
Thanks!
@@RNGGamerYT You’re welcome man 😃!
What’s going to happen with all your gaming stuff if you suddenly departed?
It'll go to my kids!
Did I hear RNG say he had a console that plays Game Gear games?
Can you give me some info on that?
I have a consolized Game Gear!
After seeing his collection , I am done collecting.
😂
Hey bud, what are those shelves called holding the ps4 switch games?
They are all Oskar Atlantic shelving units
My room does not look right for a retro video game when I get a new home with a basement I will set up a retro video game room and make it look fancy and good. 👍🙂🙂
Sounds great!
Do it!
Muy chula la coleccion
Thank you!
You have a working game gear for all those games lol>?
@RNGGameryt my google translate calls the game @7:12 'Real Sound wind regret'
Hey just wondering, how much are all your collections including your game room and everything in it? I am interested in buying the whole room.
🤣
Everything!?! We're talking a lot...
I see a Zelda game up on the top shelf. Is that sealed or just CIB?
RJ
It's CIB! I actually opened it and played it
@@RNGGamerYT Dude! I have my eyes set on a sealed one.
RJ
Actually Run Saber is more like Strider than Contra.
I have a near new copy of metal gear solid 4 and tried playing on my near mint ps3 and the game does not work anymore. The moral of the story is all those ps3 and Xbox 360 games will all become fancy paperweights in the future.
That is a very rare occurrence especially on PS3 games with them being Blu-rays. This isn't going to be an issue anytime soon as long as the games are properly stored and taken care of
Yeah... In all of these years... I've had about 5 games every not work
Where do you get those N64 labels?
You can get them on eBay and easy. Google N64 cart end labels
Hi do you know how much a VGA graded virtual boy and 16 virtual boy games would go for including a virtual lab game all brand new
Nope
Ok thank you for getting back to me anyway much appreciated
Probably over 100k
I need xD
Did you beat both GC Star Fox games back in the day? Do you remember Krystal?
I haven't actually played them yet! 😂
3:18 umm is that game ok?
How do you pick a game
He picks his games randomly using a random number generator algorithm. It is part of what his channel is about
@@RetroWolf88 so jealous 😭
i want this kind of room i just dont have 150k :(
He didn't SPEND $150K on it lol, that's just what it is worth. Through smart game hunting he probably spent a fraction of that and over many years. So it can be done!
The only thing that... bugs me is a bit strogn way to put it, but I suppose it's kinda accurate, is the amount of people who put hardwood (or vinyl hardwood like) in their game room. I mean, it's your room do as you wish, but the main issue is how hardwood is in vogue right now. But it kinda sucks. Like how rich people use marble fucking everywhere. It's uncomfortable, it's cold in bare feet. Man to me the best gamerooms are carpet, and not burbur carpet. I mean nice plush carpet with some good padding. Something you can lay on and play games on. Like, I love laying on the floor and gaming as much as laying across a couch.
Wut?
Well, I didn't put it in there... the previous owner did.
Also, as someone who has ripped tens of thousands of dollars worth of mildew laden carpet out of dozens of houses, never put carpet in a basement. Never.
@@RNGGamerYT Ah it's a basement. Yeah... I've ripped up some nasty carpet. I was looking at some homes in my area, but thanks to the sandy soil around here (and some proper installation) there was no leaks in most of them. 0 signs of any kind of leak. Usually you can tell when they have. feint water lines on the brick... smells, even when they try to run a dehumidifier.... But yeah, even then, one had no sump pump and that made me extremely nervous.
But honestly, I just can't enjoy hardwood floors. It is nicer to clean though.
Hi guys I’m RNG gamer I play all my games randomly…
I really do!
I almost splurged on a psx and im so glad i watched this video! Definitely not interested now.
Nice!
It's a disaster. I know they are working on cracking it. I hear they are close!
I have an extremely modest collection compared to this guy. I've been collecting since i was 5 and still only have maybe 1000 physical games, Every Nintendo and Sony console, three Xboxs.
People call me a hoarder. I'm like yeah Whatever. My collection ain't even close.
People that call collectors hoarders don't understand what a TRUE hoarder is lol
@@RetroWolf88
Yeah it's not like I'm saving old diapers, garbage or rotten food. I've known some actual hoarders. Usually it's stuff that no normal person would keep and it's so bad there's no room in your house for yourself. That's when it's a problem.
@jasondillon2462 agreed!
Hoarders don't organize everything 😂
but I didn't care for it funco land in for 30 bucks
Huh?
I don’t call NES old consoles retro games they are weak played horrible I was buying arcade machines back in the days Nintendo Switch plays just like the Wii and Wii U the first PlayStation console was a failure the PS2 would break if you played marvel Vs capcom 2 and the PS3 Sony sucked at making great consoles until they released PS4 it’s Microsoft who made the best consoles not one of them was weak I can play marvel Vs capcom 2 on it and it will never break or play on the Xbox 360 it won’t break same for Dreamcast if you don’t have the PS5 Xbox series X with ultimate game pass plus premium your missing out on the best games Nintendo online is a joke
Wut?
30 bucks from funcoland 🎮 was terrible to play with 15 controler from Walmart and 2one 3rd party to two players it's not suited for fighting games with the control for the terribly play super turbo Walmart some fighting games and all the games $15 30 yes I never bought ait was any of them
Huh?
@@RetroWolf88 I mean when I was saying yes it's sorry but yesterday that's the incorrect voice texting
Gotcha!
No boxed nes games? 👎
Lol 🤦♂️🤷♂️
There's a BUNCH of boxed NES games. You see them in the first 2 minutes of the video
