@@ItsSammyPhantom You can hunt, play dice, join tournament, gather herbs, do alchemy, sharpen blades, do small archery tourneys, be a thief and I'm sure there are few more things. It's one of the most immersive games out there.
I think there's a logical flaw right at the beginning of the video, if you don't have time to look up a game before buying, you probably also don't have time to play it again and again! Oh and my most played game is Kingdom Come: Deliverance (except for the Football Manager series, which is in completely different spheres), lots of people would just never play it again after finishing the main story once but I played hundreds of hours, started over dozens of times before I even did that the first time, there's just no other game like it and I dearly hope they didn't ruin that in part 2 because of all the criticism.
We have the same thought but I think it's still understandable. Like me, I'm working in the morning and once I get home I just usually grab my controller to play games. Now that I'm done with tlou, I'm planning to get Last Epoch. I looks great, I just hope it can be played offline.
A procedural-generated game that I enjoy and play at least once or twice a year for the past seven years or so is "The Swindle." It has an end and the skills you buy are the same each playthrough. However, its replayability lies on how enjoyable it is. In particular, I enjoy the risk vs. reward approach of the game.
Beneath the oresa is a really cool slay the spire alternative I'd reccomend. The character actually moves and punches differently based off the cards used so its a bit more engaging and fun to look at then the static ness of slay the spire I'd also reccomend Kenshi. Basically runescape but single player and sorta hard. You'll get fucked up and die alot in the beginning but you'll get the hang of it. I have an unfathomable amount of hours on it Super dragonball heroes world mission, unique card game with dragonball characters. Endless fun. Sid meiers Pirates! Old-school asf but boy do I love this game. The matchless kungfu , a really fun open world with turn based combat. Early access tho.
A lot of surprises on this list. Especially Mount & Blade and Monster Hunter World. I put Mount & Blade on my wishlist. If I catch it on sale I might have to pick it up. Monster Hunter World is in my library on PS. Not sure how I got it, I think they gave it away for free a few years ago. But I never really played it. I might need to check that out as well.
i would honestly put Warband over Bannerlord because of mods, Warband has a LOT of almost full replacement mods that are like 100h+ easily and they're still making new ones while Bannerlord is nowhere near that amount (but i hope it will get there eventually)
I have as of commenting this 1,395 hours on rimworld. Its not the most but it sure is a lot. It is my favorite game of all time because you can literally so anything you want in it and not to mention the modding community is vast. Heres to the next 1,000 hours and then some 🍾
Lol no they don't. The theme of the video is that each playthrough offers a completely different experience. You just named 3 relatively linear story games.
@@todhold2673 I'd argue that modded Skyrim does. Nexus has like 3+Billion downloads on mods for Special Edition on it's own. There's literally a mod that combines AI speech with AI Chat for npcs now.
@@lihzzahrdspeed6631 DoSII is one of my favorite games ever. I really like Skyrim... They're linear AF. They have a set storyline that you can play through. They're not a new experience every time. Sure you can deviate and handle battles in different ways which does create replay value. However, you search the same settings. The same items. The same chests. Complete the same major quests and the same side quests. That isn't "Endless Replay Value". It's okay to be a fan of a game. Don't be delusional and prescribe awards to the game it doesnt deserver.
I like to try all types of games, from your city builders to your shooters, Fully story driven or no story at all. And my all time favorite game that I've spent more than 800 hours is Monster Hunter World, truly one of a kind. Ps: my recommendation to the list is Don't Starve Together, or any Don't Starve title for that matter.
Arma 3s probably the most replayable game ever. Theres so many scenarios and mp modes at this point you dont even have to replay it lol. You just endlessly play new content. One underappreciated gem of strategy games is Atilla Total War. I did a couple WRE campaigns and i noticed they made the AI so variable no campaign plays the same. Ive had campaigns where Atilla came early and fucked me up good. Other campaigns where I was so strong by the time he was born the Huns were afraid to even come near me. They sputtered out in Turkey basically just getting ripped apart by multiple factions who banded against them.
Was waiting for deep rock and binding of Isaac, knew they had to be on the list. Would have added terraria or minecraft tho, minecraft isn’t really my thing I prefer terraria but depending on the player both are endlessly replayable survival games that are super popular and therefore have a ton of mods.
Neverwinter Nights. This game was built as a tool as well as a video game version of Dungeons and Dragons 3e. Some might ask why not just play BG3? I love BG3, Ive had it since EA launched in 2020 but because of WOTC, BG3 will never have any DLC or a DM mode or community modules. Neverwinter Nights has all of these. The base campaign is eh, the official DLC campaigns are pretty good and the community has for the last 22 years created endless amounts of campaigns, multiplayer persistent world servers and mods to customize your experience. I was just playing on a Star Wars roleplay server last night and it was fucking amazing.
im gonna leave a game suggestion here with endless replay value: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. GAMMA, or any of the free play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods, i probably poured countless hours into them and every situation is different even though you are playing the same story, the world of STALKER is so unpredictable its hard to get into the same situations twice. Also some mods have different endings depending on your behaviour and the choices you make during your playthrough like in Goldsphere or True Stalker, even the original trilogy has different endings so there is some replay value in that aswell.
I know its wrong to think but anytime theres a game that even mentions "endgame" I get turned off assuming "its 30 hours of terribly written filler, to act as as a game but really you have started until hour 30 where you fight hordes for gear for hordes for gear." I just dont understand the logical purpose. Its the same style of engagement as a casino, but if you told every customer "sorry you gotta read this 800 pg novel before you can gamble."
Pretty much all Atari 2600 games. A bit of joking aside, i've heard the ColecoVision was the better console, but serious, Morrowind with mods is a pretty solid option.
Regarding CIV 6: Is it possible to only play let's say as Romans or Aztecs and never evolve above (same for the NPC enemies) or do I always have to tech into modern times ?
You can play as the same nation over and over and every time develop different skills which will affect your experience a lot. Also getting to the modern times can take many hours of the campaign but the reality is that you can win in many ways, not just by military superiority so even evolving to modern times is not mandatory
550 hours factorio. I dont think it has infinite replayability. It has a lot of it and i basically never gets boring, yet you set up all the same stuff every time you start a new game. sure the ground looks different but thats not infinity. The new dlc which takes you into space will launch in the next couple of months. 500 hours Monster hunter world. I am not done with all the content. There is so much to do. 200 hours of rimworld. So many possibilities 100 hours of Risk of Rain 2. This really is a tough nut. I havent beaten the boss on the hardest difficulty yet.
"Monster hunter world" and "seamless co-op" should absolutely NEVER go in the same sentence. If you are trying to play through the story with friends, almost every single mission is forced singleplayer UNTIL you watch the cutscene of the monster. Then you have to exit out of the mission, go back into the lobby with your friends and start a proper co-op mission then. It may not sound too bad but it gets really annoying AND its completely nonsensical, because the game is very capable of running cutscenes at the same time for multiple players in the same hunt, it happens a couple of times during the story and each player just sees their own version of the cutscene with their character in it. Apart from that the co-op is rather good. Also for people who liked Path of Exile and Last Epoch and want more, I recommend Grim Dawn. Lots of stuff to do and minmax if you're into that, endgame uber bosses and unlike PoE and LE, you can mod it.
"not having the time to check out if a game has replay value"... well in that case you dont really care since you wouldnt have time to replay it anyway

@@ItsSammyPhantom You can hunt, play dice, join tournament, gather herbs, do alchemy, sharpen blades, do small archery tourneys, be a thief and I'm sure there are few more things. It's one of the most immersive games out there.
@@BlingBoyOtowhy would doing chores be fun?
I would add Terraria to this list, has a ton of content and a gigantic modding comunity.
Man you are amazing at your videos. You catch the preference vibes of a boomer like me (and u i guess) and newer generations resulting in S+ lists!
Kinda surprised not even a single person mentioned Skyrim replay value with it's modding capability & community
At this point, it's a given. Lol
Even without mods I’d still say it’s very replayable
Thank you for this video, I needed this list of games.
Hoi4 is a game I would also put on this list you can put 500 hours in this game and still not understand the navy mechanics still very fun
Valheim is nice, sandbox, pretty decent combat system, randomly generated worlds, and honestly, pretty fun game
Crusader Kings 3 must make every list like this
not mentioning kenshi is a crime
A procedural-generated game that I enjoy and play at least once or twice a year for the past seven years or so is "The Swindle." It has an end and the skills you buy are the same each playthrough. However, its replayability lies on how enjoyable it is. In particular, I enjoy the risk vs. reward approach of the game.
love that game, sadly i suck at it. Glad to hear someone still plays that
Beneath the oresa is a really cool slay the spire alternative I'd reccomend. The character actually moves and punches differently based off the cards used so its a bit more engaging and fun to look at then the static ness of slay the spire
I'd also reccomend Kenshi. Basically runescape but single player and sorta hard. You'll get fucked up and die alot in the beginning but you'll get the hang of it. I have an unfathomable amount of hours on it
Super dragonball heroes world mission, unique card game with dragonball characters.
Rock and stone, brothers!
Brooo 🤘🏻
starting with POE was refreshing, I like tier lists that dont just dump roguelikes! nothing wrong with em though
I have as of commenting this 1,395 hours on rimworld. Its not the most but it sure is a lot. It is my favorite game of all time because you can literally so anything you want in it and not to mention the modding community is vast. Heres to the next 1,000 hours and then some 🍾
Streets of Rogue should have been on the list also, in my opinion!
Streets of Rogue 2 is supposed to release in early access on PC later this year!
Literally any game that allows Mods will be infinitely replayable
Divinity, Skyrim and Fallout 4 has pretty good replay value.
@@todhold2673you clearly don’t play them because it IS a new experience every time, atleast for Skyrim
I think for me personally DayZ always been endless when it comes to community servers, also if you are a competitive player, CS is a must.
I already had every game on this list except Hades 2.
Into The Breach. There is always a new timeline to save. It's as replayable as chess.
Darkest Dungeon has to be on there tbh.
quality content , underrated channel, better than ign or gameranx
Gameranx is incredible not even comparable to IGN
@@brunopinto6178 Yeah IGN posts fake or paid reviews sometimes. Everybody knows that.
This is much better. Keep working at it bro.
Was waiting for deep rock and binding of Isaac, knew they had to be on the list. Would have added terraria or minecraft tho, minecraft isn’t really my thing I prefer terraria but depending on the player both are endlessly replayable survival games that are super popular and therefore have a ton of mods.
I would also include soul stone survivors that game is fun
Unpopular list? Y’all crazy. This list is all bangers - “mixed” reviews my foot 😂😂😂
Also some mods have different endings depending on your behaviour and the choices you make during your playthrough like in Goldsphere or True Stalker, even the original trilogy has different endings so there is some replay value in that aswell.
for me gamma and efp stutters a lot. even when decent fps, the frame stuttering is crazy, maybe I need to upgrade my pc. I have an AMD Rx 580
Just going to add in a shout out to Empyrion and the awesome Reforged Eden mod for Empyrion.
I know its wrong to think but anytime theres a game that even mentions "endgame" I get turned off assuming "its 30 hours of terribly written filler, to act as as a game but really you have started until hour 30 where you fight hordes for gear for hordes for gear." I just dont understand the logical purpose. Its the same style of engagement as a casino, but if you told every customer "sorry you gotta read this 800 pg novel before you can gamble."
great video
No mention for Dwarf Fortress? Im surprised
Unless if that game requires Internet Connection to play. That's not forever.
Valheim, Old World, The Long Dark, Farming Manager ...
So many possibilities
100 hours of Risk of Rain 2. This really is a tough nut. I havent beaten the boss on the hardest difficulty yet.
W taste, literally every game mentioned is amazing
V rising should be added
Tetris, Football, race games
Dude you use total war shogun thumbnail, i thought you gonna reccomend it, it's a really good game thouu
Lots of stuff to do and minmax if you're into that, endgame uber bosses and unlike PoE and LE, you can mod it.
missing Valheim here
"not having the time to check out if a game has replay value"... well in that case you dont really care since you wouldnt have time to replay it anyway
Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball on SNES. Fite me.
I seriously want last epoch on console
My list:
Skyrim
Skyrim
Skyrim
Skyrim
Vermintide 2 has good Replayability too.
Hades 2...?? When that come out 😂
I suggest...7 Days, CMS21 drag dlc, Empyrion, FS17 modded, SP Tarkov mod.
>POE
>Play forever
Until they shutdown the servers for POE2 lol
For me it's Dungeon Defenders 2 and vermintide 2
"Hades 2 protagonist melon-O"
Mount and blade warband with the clash of kings mod i recommend all day
Not a single game i played from the list or wanted to play 😂
thats sad man those are some good games though
@@dieLX479 well i only like third person games
