      I just started mine last week, I wanted to ask, are interlocs slimmer?
      Do they look flat?

    Please do another video on this!! I started with two strand twist and now I palm roll. It seems like my new growth isn’t locking (I’m a year in.) I was thinking of interlocking so that it’ll lock sooner.

    I started my locs with interlocking. I have really soft straight hair and was told it wouldn't lock with other methods. 3 years in and I dislike how lumby they look in places so I've started palm rolling I only interlock twice a year now. Interlocking in my opinion doesn't give that traditional loc look sadly

    Hello! Thank you for the video! I started my locs with two strand twists about 5 days ago. I felt that twists were the easiest for since I do them all the time. I am intense about working out so my initial plan was to interlock. Two questions: 1) would interlocking be more beneficial for me since I work out so often and would like the extra hold. 2) would interlocking change the shape of my locs even starting with two strand twists? Thank you!

      I started with two strand twist and did interlocking for my first two maintenance appointments, but I've seen some people do the same and their two strand twist portion of their locs appears to be thicker than the interlocked part. Sooo I decided to give retwisting a try earlier this week just because I'd rather my locs be as full as possible and blend with the twisted part. I workout a lot as well, but so far it has lasted the past 5 days surprisingly..

    Is it best to interlock on wet or dry hair?

    • @DeJa2001
      @DeJa2001 4 роки тому +4

      It's best to do it on moist hair specifically where the new growth is. You can either wash your hair then start interlocking if that's what you need at the moment is a wash or if you feel like you don't need to wash your hair you can just fill up a spray bottle with some water and just spray your new growth and then interlock just make sure your new growth stays moist while you're interlocking.

    I’m 5 months into my journey I started with coils. My loctician interlocked a few locs around the perimeter that weren’t locing at the base. Now it seems that I have somewhat of a braid pattern. Will this fade as my hair grows?

    • @thedigitalloctician
