My ex was into the polyamorous rifling. I'm more traditional, so we parted ways. Last I heard, she worked at Kel-Tec.

I use the Extreme brand and RMR. I stuff thousands of Extreme in both 9mm run in Ruger P95 and .45acp every year. I shoot them at bowling pin comps mostly. I really like their 255gfp for knocking the crap outta the pins. Run in SR1911, and Ruger American.45acp.
I also load extreme in 7.62x39. they run great in AK, SKS, AR, and my bolt gun keeps them tickling a quarter at 100yds.
The RMR I load for my PCC I tossed together in .45acp. and since they share mags, I run in G41 as well.
I have found that reloading brass that's been through a Glock, doesn't really like going through a 1911 afterwards. So I do take mind now to separate the brass. But it's not hard, I just separate by primer pocket size, and the 1911 gets only lg pocket like God intended.
    Also... Check out Missouri Bullets.
I run them in .458 Socom.
    And Check out Fury .729hp.
Holy fun! They sound like shooting a 30mm grenade.
    Great video as always.
Edit. I saw the 78 spread, wth? I run titegroup and my sd was 24. I also run Shooters World Cleanshot and had 29 sd.
Before you give up on the Extreme, try a different powder.

My go to has been RMR for yrs now. I have to say Everglades is my second choice. But i might give Berrys a look now. But RMR has had all my projectiles from 380acp up to 45acp and have great success with them. Once in awhile they have a great deal on seconds and i havent seen any issues yet. Enjoyed this one alot

Subsonic 9mm using 147 GR Berry's Bullets is something that I am trying so appreciate this comparison.

Those two choices are the same as I came up with. I really like FMJ ammo so RMR is my first pick. I don't have a 5' barrel but they have 135gr and 124gr FMJ so that is what I would test out.

Now that they've dropped the 40 cal, the FBI uses 135 grain 9mm through a Glock 19 so you're right on the money there.

I've had issues with Berry's 9mm plated bullets being too large to chamber. Diameter around .357-.358". Worked fine in my Hi-Powers & FNX-9, but won't fully chamber in my Glocks, IMI, S&W, etc... Good thing I usually shoot a Hi-Power.

Haven't started yet, but most likely, I will be starting very soon on reloading my own 9mm rounds.
Do you have any beginner videos of setting up and doing some basic reloading? Or anything along those lines?

    • @deuceandguns

At one point half my videos were detailed reloading videos and I guess they were too detailed because UA-cam deleted most of them and anything close to a detailed reloading video gets demonetized or just won't be allowed to go live. Here's the link to my remaining reloading playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLVqUOaZXStZ9aba-mZnuwJSHM0Pc3_Mqf.html I highly recommend to start off with a Lee Turret press a reloading manual such as the Lee, Hornady, or Lyman and lastly, follow the official loading recipes in manuals or published by the powder companies for a LONG time. The people online who are experimenting with unpublished powder charges are either like me with 20 yrs and at least 50k rounds reloaded or are putting themselves in danger. Feel free to ask me any reloading questions on future videos. If you respond to old comments UA-cam sometimes doesn't tell me I got a new reply.

Just get a 357 size die and go back to lead. It also might be your mouth flare isnt wide enough, swaging your cast lead down to .355 or so when you seat a bullet no matter how big you size the projectile. Try a 38 special expander. Or if you have a dillon Double Alpha has a coated bullet 9 mm expander. I say dont give up on lead.

One of my first reloading videos (now taken down by UA-cam) was how to load 9mm for 3 cents. It required casting bullets from lead wheel weights and Wolf primers that cost $18 per thousand. Good times.

@@elesjuan I remember farther back than that. In the 70s, when I started reloading, they were $7.00/1000. .007 apiece. Those days are gone forever, sadly.
