Yes, she had been through several bouts of pneumonia in previous years (she almost gave up singing at one point) and one video shows her traveling to this event using a nebulizer. But, outside, in the wind, with minimal instruments playing and sitting down she made one of the most incredible performances of her life while bringing comfort to those workers who had to keep the steel mill running through Covid!
