Geo Locators is a tiny device worn by birds to pinpoint where they are, and when. Once migrating birds return, the device is removed and information downloaded. Since purple martins normally return to the exact same colony location, geos attached in the summer return in good percentages. Since this video was produced, gps devices are now small enough to return even more detailed information.
