Hi Aric, I hope you’re keeping well. I gotta say, you are genuinely my favourite maths-stats-educational youtuber/presenter on this site (in a non-parasocial way). The way in which you teach is effective, clear, really easy to understand, and really funny all at the same time - a combination of gifts which is really rare to find! Honestly, I really hope to see more of your content since they are gems of videos. I dont understand how you dont have more views and subscribers, since youre able to teach graduate level topics (at least for me studying economics) in ways which hardly anyone else can. You truly have a gift for teaching, and I'd love to watch more of your videos, not just for my own learning, but also entertainment! I know its a very selfish request, and i do hope everything is alright on your end, but can you blame me for wanting gold when I've stumbled on a goldmine? Anyways, i hope you take care and stay healthy, and i eagerly wait for more of your incredible videos. God bless
your time series playlist was f***ing awesome, never learnt anything this much faster, @AricLaBarr would you recommend some more indepth videos or book for time series and anomaly detection on time series with some python code to it.
The book I would recommend is Rob Hyndman's Forecasting Principles and Practice book that is available free online. It is in R instead of Python though. Honestly, Python isn't the greatest for time series, but there is a new package out there called statsforecast that I have heard good things about but not gotten a chance to use yet!
