@@KallionMustASMR That was THE SONG that stole my heart a few years back, first song I ever heard of theirs! Was prepping for a live work event and the sound guys had that playing, I asked who it was, looked them up…and the romance began. Just need them to encounter Jesus now and everyone wins 😅😭
I'd Love if you did a review of 100 bad days. It's such an impact full song of using your bad days to make a good story for the others that wish to hear it and possibly learn from it as you yourself learned how to handle it.
@@brasslamp3143 haha, yeah, the raw content was almost two hours long, including an intro where I kinda hit on the main theme I was likely going to be riffing on: AJR spinning their wheels, same old story with new musical trappings over and over, and how that’s all the world offers vs. the “much more” of Jesus. I don’t have much to say about their style and poetry just because to me it’s so obviously beautiful and unique; and I cut out the bits here and there, from what I recall, where I commented on the music video itself, saying that I had wondered if it would enhance the lyrics with visual nuance or just be a one-for-one. Maybe I kept something like that in, can’t remember; either way, the video just looked pretty to me, no new info to unlock further meaning. More of a visual guide to walk through the lyrics, which to me each cry out for Jesus to resolve them, hence the impromptu Bible walkthrough 😂😭
