Went and watched some of the oot 100% 3 pause run and that whole run and commentary is amazing. The fact that iron boots are equipped for the rest of the run, the twinrova ghost glitch is actually essential, and that fanfic reading all happened in the span of like 9 minutes is incredible
@@chickenbeansoup2631 I believe its because time of day advances during the text box. If they skip the owl they have to wait for night later on, so it doesnt save any time.
@@mynameisdarthtater if they skip they don't have to wait, in this route its not necessary, owl skip is slower than textbox but saved time later in the route
Alex Foote the reason is that it was only better for certain categories, but you are correct with the time and day passing but overall it was slower to skip
All the glitches, tips, and tricks found in the last ~22 years or so and we still get things like 60th try Dampe. Seems like RNG manipulation for Dampe is the OOT Holy Grail apparently.
On sunmer nights, when everybody in my neighborhood is asleep, i go out on walks, listen to music and start dancing around. Coming up with different coreographies. As if I am the protagonist of a musical. Nebedy has any fokin clue.
At some point ZFG will have lost a run to every child skulltula. Might as well get them out of the way so they don’t ruin the god run when the new adult route gets implemented
It's fun watching old videos. ZFG has 3:30 runs, and says any route changes would just save seconds. Here in 2025, ZFG already got the run to 2:15 with Hyper Extended ACE.
yeah and remember last year in 2024 when they merged all the max% child leaderboards back into a single page called 100% child NSR after discovering DOT-skip-skip? here ZFG says that they can't get any of the adult items as child. funny.
Im assuming source requirement means it has to be exactly the original source? Like spawning the bow chest elsewhere wouldn't count as source, despite being the literal source for the item

the thing is, it is possible to SRM Dampe but it takes longer than 5th try dampe or so... so.. getting lucky is still faster
