4:53 - I can't believe she's 70 years old! 😱 She looks much, much younger. And thank you for this series - it's helped reinforce to me the desire to visit the local diners for a true taste of good old fashioned American food and culture.

Our family ate at Jeff's Family Restaurant last week. The food on the menu is homemade and made fresh daily. The country fried steak, mash potatoes, gravy and turnip greens were similar to those my late mother made.
The family members are friendly and make you feel welcome.
I highly recommend this restaurant!

One of the best meat and 3's I've ever had!! First had Jeff's in 2007 after giving birth to my son up the street at the hospital. Much better than Kleervu's up the street. Definitely check Jeff's out!!!

Everything looks delicious, but the okra looks like the exact same frozen, bagged okra they serve at places like Golden Corral. Why doesn’t anyone seem to know how to make real fried okra with cornmeal in an iron skillet anymore?
