The saxophonist really sounds like Dexter! The similarities are striking... the attack on his notes, the straighter feel, the vocab in his lines, the way he hits those high notes... I love it!
Eric Leese has a trio called jazzXpress Trio . He changed the name from "KLM" which was Karan, Leese, Morgan, when Chris Karan could no longer work due to a mystery illness. New drummer Tim Stevens joined the trio, but after the very sad and sudden death of Pete Morgan a permanent bass player is yet to be found. In the meantime we are hoping that Chris Karan will make a full recovery and be back behind the drums where he belongs.
