And that's when they threw him a bone by getting Khaled to put them on some collabs, that how you get Got the Keys and them songs. But even then they still didn't give credit on that song. He was just recruited by Detail to record a demo to make it easier for Detail to sell the track to Beyonce. They didn't hear anything back for a while, so Future made plans to turn the demo into a full track for his next album. However, Beyonces' surprise drop of self titled in 2013 had Drunk in Love on it so she did use it as Detail intended, meaning Detail was in for royalties and Future could no longer use the track. However, as a demo artist, he played no part in the writing of the track. Hes wrong here as this revelation that he recorded a demo has got the Average Joes out there thinking he was due a credit, he knows hes not and yet hes not clearly setting the record straight as hes salty about missing out on the track and he likes the sympathy and goodwill this false narrative gets him. He just addresses the topic in a vague way that doesn't accuse Beyonce of wrongdoing, but it also doesn't clear her name as it serves him to be thought of as the victim. Zero integrity.

It wouldn’t have been the same song. He wrote some of the melody but the beat was made by Detail who then sent it to future before passing it on the Bey & Jay. They along with their writers then remade the melody, wrote lyrics, etc.
I think he should still be credited, because work is work & that took up his time & then affected the creative direction of his own album. Sometimes it’s better to create within your team from beginning to end. Smh.
