Right. Some only care about the science of singing which leads them to become coaches. But when u can actually sing as a vocal coach, your expertise actually helps those you train more since most singers go off ear to show them the right way and not just notes on a paper.

You can hear Beyonce use Arabic influences in her music. She has often said herself she loves their sound.

A lot of it has to do with the modes that are used. The Persian, Egyptian and harmonic minor scales will give you that flavor. Try it😊
She’s definitely been saying this since the early 00s and we’ve heard it. That’s why I’m shocked so many people think it’s a new thing for her.
I don’t think that’s where she got this from. She has lots of runs like this. Her voice runs are inspired by the Clark sisters. Not India.
Arabic music has such gorgeous microtones . The scale is very different than Western musical scales . She does this beautifully .

Ooooohh, that 1st one was CLEEEAN! 🙌🏼 ❄ Her voice only slightly cracked on the last note and that was the only mistake. Her head voice was the way it's supposed to be sang as is in the song because it's more of a background and is a Siren call. #SHEDIDTHAT 👏🏼

The young man with the braids got a Whitney Houston Jawline and mouth. J remember seeing some study about the shape of her mouth and how her jaw line and cheeks allow more space for air than the average person. So she can belt out notes in such a unique manner. HE GOT IT!!

Shaniece’s last note was super clean! The 1st and 3rd were so pure and pretty pretty pretty. Everyone was really good but Iniko is just chef’s kiss. Beautiful and ethereal.

Personally I used to know how to sing when I was younger but since I've gotten older I've been told I can sang. Thing is my only audience are my kids. So I would love to get a 2nd opinion from a skilled vocalist. Could you please do a part 2? Please?
