Jane Elliot is the most underrated actor in daytime. She should have a cabinet full of emmys. I love Tracy Quartermaine. My favorite character in daytime. She was the best in the 80s and 90s.
Great interview Kimberly. You have such a deep relationship with your co-worker/family , it's a beautiful thing to see. I am thrilled to be a "loving witness" to GH and the fabulous cast for 37 years . Love you kiddo , keep up the great work :)
I just loved this interview. Jane is an amazing person. Kimberly I am going to miss you on GH. These little interviews you have done are great..thank you for sharing them.
I just want to say how wonderfully expressive Jane is and so is Kimberly....i just enjoy listening to them express themselves...and i very much appreciate their acting abilities.
This interview was wonderful, Kimberly. It's right up there sharing top favorites with the two interviews you've done with Jason. Jane is such a great actress, and has done fabulous work in so many shows, and it is wonderful to see the admiration and affection you two have for one another.
Experts will probably be discussing the phenomenon of the soap opera for decades to come, but I think one thing that happens with the soaps is that one doesn't just fall in love with the character, they fall in love with the actor as well. Now it's time for you to step out of the comfortable into the uncomfortable so you may grow into your destiny. BRAVO! Oh yes, and those of us that love you will watch in awe! Thanks for making Robin so incredible!
Kim...so far this one is my FAVORITE of your interviews with your coworkers. Jane is a wonderful spirit. I found that out last summer when she came to NLG's event. And I have ALWAYS enjoyed her acting.
love, love, love this videos!!! i love all the ones that kimberly taped. it's so interesting for long time soap viewers to get to see behind the scenes stuff and the relationships that are formed on these shows.
I'm sure you know this better than all of us fans but what an amazing woman Jane is! I love how smart she is & how she went for a role that would challenge her to be a better actress. You're doing the same thing by spreading your wings & challenging yourself. I'm going to miss you so much on GH but I'm so excited & happy for you. I absolutely can't wait to see what you come up with.
I honestly thought that your own interview and the one with Jason Thompson would be my favorites hands down, but I think Jane's is my favorite. She is an awesome woman!
Jane is such an intellegent person with a caring heart for her co-stars. She returned to GH in 1989 so she has so much history with Kim. This was so touching. It grabs your heart. It is ok if you cry Kim.. the rest of us are. I am so hoping we get a TR and FH interview but we must grab the tissues first. Kim you are loved and wished the best in the future.
Kimberly you do awesome interviews. I love watching these interviews and I can tell how much everyone cares about you and how much you care about them. I am such a huge fan GH fan and a huge fan of you as well. I look forward to your future endeavors.
Thank you so much for this Kimberly. Best of Luck with your future endeavors. We will always love Robin, and thank you for the heart and soul you gave her for all of these years.
Wow these interviews are so cool... Jane Elliot has "always been" my favorite actress in this genre. I didn't realize her & Tony are such close friends. I started crying too Kim...
Kim I'm gonna miss seeing u on camara I feel like I grew up with u also been watching u since u first appeared on the show good luck to u in all ur success u are a great actress and person :)
Jane is one of my favorites!, her best role was Carrie Todd in Guiding Light. I wished the fans could have had more of her in that show. Just a great character.
Kimberly, you amaze me. To interview your co workers so openly and sharing your relationships with them has been such a gift. We may not know you personally, but we love you just like we love Robin. I wish you the very best and please know how very much you and your character were loved. GH won't be the same without you.
I have to chime in again and say how much I love these interviews, Kimberly! I feel like I've learned so much about you, your co-workers and how things are on the GH set. I love the relationships you have with these people. The whole thing is fascinating. Keep 'em coming, Kim. :)
So cool. I'd watch Jane and Tony read from the phone book if that's what it comes down to. And, Kim, kudos on a brave decision to leave GH and further your directing career. I remember your very first scene with Tristan Rogers when little Robin showed up at his house. Seems like yesterday. The best to you.
This was So beautiful! Jane is real class act! And Kim, u are a class act too! And when you leave after your final scene on GH, this won't be goodbye..but until we see u again in another chapter in your career!!
It is inevitable that parts of yourself shine through when conducting interviews. The level of respect your cast members and the crew have for you; the amount of love and support they show you is overwhelming and very telling of the amount of respect and love you show them.
I really thought your Jason Thomspon interview(s) were going to be my favorite, but this one is going to be hard to top. I forget that you and Jane have know for each other for such a long time. Kudos to you both.
@tkfaf15:I agree 100 percent! Jane is a true professional actress as well as a classy person! And I going to miss Kim too. I mean I've watched her for many years and she is leaving to follow her dream to write and direct! Very emotional indeed!
wow how im so sad whats happening to soaps!!! i would love to have an acting career in soaps like jane!!! im 20 and want to act on a soap sooo bad!!! GH is my number 1 always!!
The thing about soap operas is that they are they establish a kind of community with the viewership that mirrors the communities of towns, workplaces and gatherings - absolutely nowhere else can you find something as intimate as you do with soap - certainly not in primetime, where the film effect makes everything aloof and impersonal. To lose this soap medium, with its unique theatrical canvas would be a disgraceful thing. Soaps may be more fantastical but the actors on them are truly authentic.
Jane Elliot is the most underrated actor in daytime. She should have a cabinet full of emmys. I love Tracy Quartermaine. My favorite character in daytime. She was the best in the 80s and 90s.
"Precise" is a great word for her. Really shows in this conversation, the way she chooses her words to you. Lots of warmth there. Class act.
Jane Elliot is truly one of my favourite actresses. What I like most about her is her genuineness .
Great interview Kimberly. You have such a deep relationship with your co-worker/family , it's a beautiful thing to see. I am thrilled to be a "loving witness" to GH and the fabulous cast for 37 years . Love you kiddo , keep up the great work :)

The way Jane describes her and Tony's relationship reminds me of yours and Jasons relationship, Kimberly. I mean he is your TV husband. :)
