I love the idea of the structure of this journal and your many original ideas for adding the ephemera inside the envelopes and how you decorate them is amazing. Love it!

Gorgeous details in this journal . I love the idea of painted over the background!! I have printed up so many great images from the site that have valentine hearts or other things in the background that sometimes don’t suit the journals. I don’t always like to cut out the image so gesso or paint over is clever!!

Jane, I've gone thru this tutorial several times now, and always see something new and unusual! I also just LOVE how you put your own spin on a lot of the Gr Fairy photos and pieces. Can I ask you, do you have to put something like clear gesso or sand down some of the photos background, prior painting on them? Seems like it wouldn't stick on that shiny surface. Thanks for any ideas or suggestions. Again Jane, your work is just amazing!!

Have you got a video with instructions on inserting pages the way you put your envelopes in? ...or perhaps if I re-watch I can get a better idea of what you did. I've found (and subscribed) your own channel but not explored it yet... maybe I'll find directions in there.
