Every time I see someone talk about the Solitary Witch oracle I end up being drawn to the Selkie card - a few years ago, I wrote a song about a being a selkie. It was very much a channelled thing - I’ve never written a song before, and never written one since. The final line was “the girl was a selkie, and that selkie was me”. So this was a very resonant reading for me 🦭

I've had my eye on the Josephine McCarthy deck for some time... But the level of attention and depth it needs has put me off for the time being. One day! Ilove Old Ways Magick Oracle by Naomi When I bought from her in Glastonbury she gave me a wonderful story about how the deck came to be and how its the wheel of the year.
The Morrigan Oracle deck I created? Yes I have - when I made it a few years ago I did consider it - I would need to have some time to swap some of the images over as some are for home use only and to upload it and all and it's just with life, kids, job, practice etc. I haven't got the time or spoons atmo... potentially one day. 🙏
Great question - I think within the video I describe why and how each deck is resonant and powerful for me; and in terms of selecting decks; usually I just know intuitively what to work with and when. 👍

ahhh yes I get that - the first deck it kind of clicks with is always a favourite - I think that's why I'm a Smith-Waite girlie - cus it was the first deck I started with when I was 17 and cus the images and archetypes are so ingrained in my brain - they felt so familiar from the start and so now I'm obsessed with all of the RWS decks 😂.
