Finally you found me the 61 Buick! A rare breed! Amazing how these 'old' cars have stood the test of time, not sure cars of today will make it that far. Enjoyed your video!
I looked it up the metropolitan was built for several years starting in 1952. The wheel base was smaller than a vw. It was the first American auto designed here but built entirely in Europe. They saved a bunch of money that way.
Good video, just to name a few: 11:40 51 Nash (full size was Statesman & Ambassador, small import was Metro), 15:02 39 Pontiac, 15:19 56 Dodge, 16:30 54 Hudson (last of the real Hudson's before they went to the Nash body in 55), 16:59 50 Buick (bucktooth grille), 17:10 48 Pontiac, 19:52 55 Olds, 23:01 51 Chevy (50 was similar to the 49 but 50 had ridges in the bar below the light).
17:13 is a 46-48 Pontiac. On the hood sides, it says SilverStreak or Silver 8 Streak if it's an 8 cylinder. The Silver Streak trim on this one is gone.
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍 : Happy New Year , To you and your family & Mr. Felix ! Am 72 cold temps do not work for me any more ( station in Alaska ) love your videos overall . 🍩☕️👀😎👍
At one point in the video you identified an old car as being a Nash metropolitan. I suspect that was not a metropolitan. It did look like a Nash though. I’m thinking that the metropolitan came along much later. The Nash metropolitan was a very small car perhaps only a two seater came out late 1950 era or early 1960 decade…… I’ve been wrong before though. Thanks for video !
8:50 68 impala sport sedan look like it has remote mirror fender fiber opitic? allways look at the fender engine call out and look into to see if it has a 4 speed never know and the rear deck lid of the dealer name 10:54 1946-48 Nash 13:21 buick 1942 or 46 -47 16:29 53 Hudson 17:02 50 buick 17:25 48 Pontiac 21:53 ford courier sedan delivery 23:04 51 25:54 57 ford 25:17 a 57 studebaker scotsman wagon the bottom of the barrel trim
1:06 - aww a Buick, let it cruise by roaringly, like cars do ! 3:31 - it was also a '57, two of them 8:28 - might even be a 1949 10:52 - it's a 1942-48 Nash 13:22 - the one closer to you seems to be a 1942 Buick 13:51 - aww the hardtop is unloved 15:18- a Mopar, but a Dodge 15:55 - oh noes an unloved Edsel :( Poor thing. 16:27 - a '54 Hudson, the missing link between bathtub bodies and finned bodies 17:48 - Ryan the bumper guard finder 18:54 - Oh my, a Henry J ! They do exist ! 20:19 - of course someone took the V8 21:54 - it's the Courier ! A sedan delivery boiiiiiiii 24:55 - a '57 Ford but lesser line, the Custom 26:15 - poor thing got all mangled 27:20 - a '63 Galaxie with that chrome I think 28:01 - Oh noes, Ambassador, richest of them all ! It deserves to live, it has fins ! 29:16 - yup we enjoyed the vid. The '54 Hudson Hollywood hardtop is probably the most interesting, Hudson's attempt to keep up with the changing times
Interested in a really rough looking old ford car in the video. How do I contact these people? I am in MO so a trip to IA isn't out of the question. Have tools, cash, and a trailer and ready to go. Thanks!
Why do the 50s Buicks look so heavy. I loved the 57 olds but there are some pretty cool old cars there. By the looks of your left hand your sporting something new. Is congratulations in order.
Nice GMC around 2:07 . Cars, farms and fields of old trucks. Gotta love the Midwest.

Oh nice thanks for the info!
Awesome yard, I wish I lived closer to it 😥
15:07 is a '39 Pontiac. A dead giveaway are the Silver Streaks down the hood and trunks.
While lotta body swaps in there. Rat Rod city. Cool place. Needs organising. Cleaning up and moving out into circulation. Thanks for video. 👍👍✌️🇬🇧
DO ANOTHER VIDEO HERE. PLEASE. Cool yard.

20:23 is a 49 body style. The one car you thought was a DeSoto was a 55 or 56 Dodge.
17:13 is a 46-48 Pontiac. On the hood sides, it says SilverStreak or Silver 8 Streak if it's an 8 cylinder. The Silver Streak trim on this one is gone.
56 Ford sedan delivery was pretty neat
I'd also love to have the Buick Roadmaster.

13:17 is a 46-48 Buick. The car on its left could be a Pontiac, Oldsmobile, or a Chevy .
The Mopar (Lancer, Valiant) at the beginning of the video.
My mom learned to drive on a Henry J.
Hey Ryan, would you want some 68 Caprice full hub caps for your 67? Not sure how different they would be
Thanks Ray but i think the 67 is sold already!
@@IowaClassicCars Sound good! Thought I'd offer
On the Cadillacs , they have the 49 body style. Did some have the 48 body style, but we're titled as 49's ?
