I don't know. It's very cute and as adults we can see the message clearly but as kids? I feel they might look at it and see, oh, she likes the trash! It's fun for her! And not understand that it's actually a bad thing. Of course, it depends on their maturity and age but yeah.

This is the type of thing that should be taught to children. It's cute and innocent, which can easily draw children to its positivity and vibrant optimism. While the parents and mature adults would easily understand the subtext and message it's displaying. It is also not preaching or belittling in anyway, just innocent fun and a bright side to a rather bleak issue, which the younger generation can become exposed to in a way that doesn't indoctrinate them while giving them that realisation of its narrative and theme once they reach age of critical thinking.
Personally, its enough to make a grown man cry... And I love it.

Tbh I think this song is a good way to let people know to be happy and hopeful yet still be aware of the litter pollution that is affecting the ocean and to reuse anything as much as we can for the object to have a use even after it has been used . I know that the lyrics don't really mention that but the imagery does, especially the turtle with the plastic pop/beer can holders. Cute animation and a cute little mermaid 🤩😍

It's very rare that I get carried away leaving a comment anywhere, but here it's just too cute not to write. On the one hand I like the mermaid Tidy as a character and on the other hand I find the singing voice of Alicymphony really beautiful. I would love to hear more songs.

It’s crazy how this is kinda realistic in the sense that people who grow up in tough situations don’t realize that they’re dealing with stuff nobody should have to deal with. She looks so happy so I never really know how to feel about her situation because you know if she gets separated from her trash she’d hate it but she’s also not doing well IN the trash. Why do I hardcore relate to a cute garbage mermaid.

Thank you all for providing so much entertainment to me during my high school years. All of the music, how to, life videos, just talking about problems, etc. It has all been a great help to keep my mind off the horrible things that are happening on the outside. Can’t imagine what I would have done without you all there distracting. I wish I could repay you all but I am just a sad jobless teenager. But now, I’m going to college to hopefully train, get a real job, and then hopefully pay it all back; somehow. For now the best that I can do is just say thank you for now and know that I hope you never stop making awesome content. I hope that youtube doesn’t screw you over too much this day and age. Look forward to bringing your content along with me to college as well. And thank you once again for keeping my mind off all the horrible things that are happening these days.
