Dude! This video!! I wish I'd seen this much sooner lol. In the beginning with my fiance, I can look back now and every single one of the things you described was there. I expected the "over" but he actually did the "under" so that threw me off. I took it as him being guarded. The physical thing: yep! 3 months lol. Friends and family ✅✅. He was transitioning so the friends made sense. The family thing didnt make sense til I understood their toxic dynamic. I thought he was totally not as into me as I was into him. We influence each other for sure. I've never had that with anyone. But that awkwardness, I caught that and that's when I knew I was hooked lol. There was alot of frustration on my end in the beginning and I almost walked away til he finally got very direct lol. #married2022

All of this is so true. Especially because my boyfriend never did anything physical or made any move and held off on that and I got so frustrated! So eventually I asked him, if he likes me, why hasn't he done anything or made any physical moves? It could be that he's transitioning from one type of lifestyle to another to better himself for the person he's interested in - but his friends are from the old lifestyle. (For example: used to be a party guy who went out drinking with buddies - but now is more career focused but doesn't have those career focused friends, only the drinking buddies. So he doesn't want to introduce the girl to the drinking buddies and get the wrong impression.)
My husband did this with me except it was more his friends from school drifted into the lifestyle of drugs and alcohol and he didn't - but he still had a heart for his friends even though he limited his interactions for times when they showed they were trying to move beyond it. He also withheld family member interactions with me too because he came from a very broken home and his family members... well... they will take advantage of you if they can find a way. He protected me from them. After his passing I saw all of it. They even put up a gofundme for myself and our child - but I have not seen a penny of what they raised and it's been 4 years since he passed.... so, yeah... there's that.
If he does not want you to meet his family or friends or spend the night, careful, he could be married.
I was thinking, possibly not that into you. It can go either way I suppose. He should probably say if he exhibits 3 or more of these traits there's maybe a chance he might be into you :) and you know what the old saying 'time will tell' because it always does ;)

a guy wants you to meet his friends because when he's into you, he wants to show you off, he wants his friends to meet this girl he's really into, not keep her hidden. her wants his friends to know her and see what a great girl he's with.
The guy I really Iike now is Iike that ...he had no problem showing me off to all his friends and was always taking pictures of me LOL, it was really cute, and so nice especially after the way my ex treated me towards the end of our relationship (stopped introducing me to his friends and treated me like a dirty secret.).

When we were hanging out, in the “getting to know each other” phase, my bf squirmed around, and said things like “umm...so...you are really interesting” I was like “yes, I AM interesting....and fun too!” He smiled and goes, “yeah, you are, and I really enjoy spending time with you”, I go “thanks, I am pretty awesome!” He says, “yeah, so umm....”, I am vibing that he wants to ask me something serious, so I say “Are you trying to ask me something?” He goes, “umm yeah...I just umm, would you want to be with me?” I look at him, and go “I would be agreeable to that”. He smiled and loosened up a bit and goes, “so you are my girlfriend then?” I said, “yeah, that would be good”. It IS good. He is a super sweet and caring guy, kinda quirky, and kind. Simply Because I used to think the same and actually tried it with girls when I was really young. It doesn’t work, either they get scared away or they feel no spark because it’s so boring for them. I've always thought that not wanting to introduce you to the friends means they will let on that he has a relationship already. I was told by several guys that I wouldn't like their friends., so I couldn't meet them. I truly viewed it as having something to hide.
Believe me I wouldn't want my girlfriend to meet any member of my extended family. They hate me and I hate them. I don't even want to be anywhere near them. My dad is the black sheep of the family and I am guilty by association. Believe me she would be better off not knowing my family.

When people talk about "loving bombing" being signs that the guy is really in love with you - "love bombing" I mean calling all the time, showering with compliments etc, it reminds more about Narcissists chasing his victim, not the guy in love! Or he does not want his friends to tell you (accidentally or intentionally), that he's already got a girlfriend.

trust me.. don't make a woman feel rejected physically by never trying to make a move. you will lose her if you hold her at arm's length. allow that space to make some kind of subtle move so she knows you are willing to be there for her physically. Just new to the channel. From a educated gentleman's perspective, this video is truly spot on. I'm in a new relationship, and having a safe space to be able to communicate so that any misunderstandings are minimized is critically important. This skill can be learned as I didn't have the most healthiest of parents/step-parents who always fought and never learned healthier ways of expressing their feelings.

You know a man is into you when he is considerate and doesn't think only of himself. All the other behaviours can explain all kinds of situations and characters. He can buy me all the flowers in the world, open the door and pay for candlelit dinners but if he doesn't care for my well being, doesn't make sure I'm safe and doesn't put the effing toilet seat back down I know it is time to move on...

Matt! You totally missed #4! While some of that could be true, in my experience guys don't bring a gal they like around their friends early on because they don't want competition! They don't want to risk her falling for one of his guy friends, or being compared unfavorably in any measure to one of his buds.

Thank you for the "ackward" "opposite action" sign descriptions. I find that every guy I meet or try to talk to, they act weird and very awkward to the point that they start talking and get seemingly nervous and so distracted that they start talking with someone else around that they know about something you just told them about. It seems so rude to me. But, they will follow me or try to come back and draw up another conversation. Seems so weird and crazy.
I'm very impressed with this video. It gave me peace of mind when it cast not being introduced to family and friends in a good light. Six years ago, I was in a new relationship with a man who I was very much in love with, but his health rapidly declined and he passed away within ten months. The more I reflect on that relationship; the more I am convinced that it was the most meaningful romantic relationship I ever had. I knew that it was real and he was what I always wanted. Despite what a few people thought, I sensed that this man was committed to me in his heart. I didn't feel that he was ashamed of me. He was truly my friend and he would have helped me to become the best, most Christian woman I could be. He was honest, loyal and patient enough to reach me. Number 1 takes me back to high school---I remember after one of my friends shared the news to me that this guy liked me, a small group of us decided to meet up for lunch, yet he became so nervous that he just stood there like an ice sculpture, did not return my "hello", and kept repeating how he felt like throwing up.
